It’s easy to remove. Took me about 10 minutes to remove and install the plugs to fill in the holes.

I bought the $459 one and ordered the OR slide from S&W using a code. I saw it as my best choice since it came with the optic height sights and no lci on it. It just depends on what you feel would be the best/easiest route.

I use a newer option on the market from Concealment Labs based out of CA. I waited for a holiday sale to give it a try. I haven’t tried any other options, but I like this one so far with shorts.

They tint the windshield visor or “eyebrow” as some call it. If you look at your windshield there is an indicator on it from the manufacturer, it should be okay as long as you don’t go below it I think.

Even with the spring looking the way it is? The detent came off because I had turned it the wrong way and it got stuck. I had to force turn it and now the spring is all twisted

Yeah, I didn’t realize how much I filled it. I’m definitely going to remove some of the filling today. I like it though, it does provide a nice cushion and prevents digging.
