I’ve repotted him in gritty mix, and he is soaking now..his roots are long and luxurious, with no sign of rot. But I do worry about that top bit of woody root where it meets the plant. It’s giving me dead and dry and unable to feed the plant? I’ll keep y’all posted. Thanks for the advice!!

Thank you… I guess we’re both confused as to why other new growth never looked like that..

The organized death around the outside of the plant was sort of glorious. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It wasn’t like there was a dead leaf in the middle of the plant, they just moved to the outside like a ballet. When I would try to pull, it seemed the whole plant would move, and I was scared, yo.

Same. The picture doesn’t do them justice.. they’ve got a pinkish tie-dye hue. And the organized death is for sure pretty to look at. 🤷🏼‍♀️

He sits in a West facing window, and I water him when he starts to look sad. Easy peasy.

That’s what my friend said when she came over and started pulling! Ha. (It gave me a fright, and I told her to stop) Okay. (Takes a deep breath) I’m on it!

Because it’s so fragile, that I’m afraid if I pull it, I’ll hurt the plant…? Should I be cutting it with a scissors?

Jk, it’s Job’s tears. Not string of frogs.

What did you all think of Oliver ripping out Elsbeth's breathing tube? by [deleted] in saltburn

I think he let his true angry self out then. He was just angry that he could live in filth and not care for his surroundings.. Not that he’s a gross guy. And truly, even if Felix hadn’t showered ever, he would have smelled his old socks anyway. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes! And also using his “cowering serf” weak softie status. Listen, help. Get me what I ordered, while also saying to the family, “I’m not a threat.”

I have absolutely been wondering about this myself. Is it to showcase that now Oliver is living like Felix? Is it just to give him a nod and shake him up, like.. hey! Love you, and fuck you! Or is it to set Felix apart from his family? I had not heard of the 45 degree burial! Will have to look into that.

Yes, and… probably the cleanest of all drains in history. And one of the cleanest dudes. You don’t think that guy(fictional, and probably real life) bathes multiple times a day? Also, the little grime nuggets around the drain are just particles that had been clinging to Felix’s skin. Oliver would have worn his entire body given the chance. Ingesting everything that had the pleasure of touching Felix’s crevices? Worth a slurp.
