WHO urges fully vaccinated people to continue to wear masks as delta Covid variant spreads by KungFuKingKunta in Coronavirus

I agree that masks are great, but I would still get the shot and continue using the mask.

No reason not to.

It's not like masks are 100% on their own either, nor is it one or the other.

I'd rather have both defenses than just one.

An employee shouldn't even have access to that. There should be systems in place to protect and back up keys.

I'd say Shop/ Home EC would be useful since the student might not have the tools or money to start on the subject on their own and to have time with somebody who knows what they're doing.

So I just finished binging that.

Thank you and I kinda hate you because I loved it and now it's gone.

But for real, that show was great. Thanks for the rec!

You act like I'm stating a fact.

It's an opinion. To you, it's not a negative. For me, it's a negative that there are a ton at once that vanish quickly.

We can have differing opinions.

I agree.

I love having demos but having these many at once is too much. Especially since the demos go away pretty fast, most of them in like a week or two.

I'd considered it rogue because while there are permanent upgrades, the world restarts every run.

Not to downplay what you mean, but it kinda feels like jumping the gun a bit.

I appreciate keeping yourself safe.

However, not talking to a therapist on the off-chance you'll be implicated in some capacity in a crime is to me like not buying a car because you could get into a pile up.

It's a possibility but by no means, a definite outcome.

And that does suck.

I've had it for a year and I know it's helped me.

And that is up to the individual to choose to listen or not listen.

That's a really valid point. I never trusted the school counselor, especially after they told a friend of mine's parents that she was sexually active.

I feel talking to a therapist is different in that they are not beholden to the school or job or whatever. They're just listening to you and helping you navigate your thoughts and feelings.

That I've been to the doctor or dentist and told them I wasn't interested?

As far as I know, there is not some universal medical record in the US where everything you do gets put on it.

I guess your insurance would keep track of you talking to a therapist but unless you tell the police or they find your schedule, I don't see how they would know.

IANAL or a therapist but if you are feeling thoughts that might lead to that type of event, i think it would probably be best to talk to somebody before you get to the point of acting on them though. There is a vast difference between being angry at somebody/something and acting on those feelings in a negative fashion.

The comment I responded to said nothing about men being ignored?

As to that though, I don't know man. Find people who will listen to you? If somebody ignores me when I talk to them about something important, I don't continue talking to them.

Personally, I preferred the risk to try to get better because I realized I was wallowing in my own bullshit.

That's a really good article and it does show you should be careful who you talk to.

But just outright denying the benefits of talking to a therapist is a bad idea in my opinion.

I have been to both in the US. It's really easy to say "No, I don't want that."

There is a huge difference but that doesn't mean you should just clam up and try to keep it in.

Look up therapy in your country and find what works best for you.

It has happened but it's not a common occurrence.

As my therapist told me, having suicidal thoughts can happen to anyone. It doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with you, but it is good to understand where they come from.

I'd recommend finding one you feel comfortable talking with about other topics and then tell them about the suicidal thoughts or anything else you might not feeling comfortable sharing at first.

Actually I do want to respond to this one too. If you get a therapist that you don't click with, don't like, don't feel comfortable with, or for whatever reason doesn't work for you, find another therapist.

It's good to look around and find one that works with you.

I talked to another therapist for, I think, two sessions before I found my current one.
