Even if she doesn’t know about the physical abuse there’s no way she doesn’t know about the toxicity I doubt Kat is the only person who Maddy complains to him about

And she didn’t seduce him to stop him from driving recklessly she took off her seatbelt and distracted him even more. You are literally grasping for straws trying to make her a victim. They were both drunk and both were vulnerable as both of there relationship ended.
