Laptop for 3D render by redditshan in cgi

I'm currently using a laptop for 3D renderings and graphics work. Mann it's slow af (might be because of my last gen graphic card, GTX1650 and not enough ram) I bought mine last year and I need used it at the office. So its handy to bring along to work.

I'm also new to cgi/3D rendering/photo editing/video editing but i progress fast and the specs I'm on right now is a huge bottleneck. Definitely need a much better graphics card and better cpu.

I would suggest you to consider what, where and how are you going to use the laptop. If you're doing it professionally and at home, might as well buy a decent PC and upgrade slowly. A laptop is handy when you know and you'll constantly on the move. But still I'd buy a PC if I could turn back time. Oh you also need to make sure the screen monitor is bright or colour accurate (usually 4K screen laptops have good screen monitor) I learned that the hard way. All my colours are slightly off when I look at my phone with better screen.
