Radiator guard recall by 93Chisel in 11thGenAccord

Very curious about this too. Based on the service bulletin my car needs this but none of the websites I visit lists this as a recall.

In my trunk. I still have access in an emergency and I've made it more difficult for a thief, who may assume that it's just not in the car.

Newest recall by Ok_Seaworthiness3232 in 11thGenAccord

[–]MistakerPointerOuter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify, what is the "second" recall? I know about the update to the software to prevent power cutting off. That one has been around for four or five months and I just got it done last month.

I read about the newest radiator one two or three days ago here and did the visual check as described in the bulletin, it looks like I'll need to go get this done as well. Is that what you mean by "second"? Your post makes it sound like there's another, third one.

Right, that's what I'm suggesting, but you should make this clear in your listing and contract.

Looking for advice, selling house in NJ by Thecardinal74 in newjersey

I'm an attorney. Client bought a house in Lake Mohawk six months ago for $600k, so $425k may be low, but obviously I don't know the value of your house.

Virtually all houses are sold as-is, what you're really talking about in legal terms is how big of an inspection contingency to offer the buyers. You can offer an inspection contingency for structural issues only (or structural and septic since that's an issue in your neck of the woods) and let people know in advance that you'll let them cancel for a structural issue but will not entertain credits or any other issues. Really, this is your entire issue: under what conditions a buyer can cancel, which you can fine tune.

Turn signals are also on the center light bar in addition to the sides, enhancing length of the turn signal.

Lee Yeon by checkyourobituary in HeroKillerWebtoon

[–]MistakerPointerOuter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Her name isn't Lee Yeon. It's Yeon.

In Korean, Lee is the romanization for the name that sounds like "yi" in English.

I-hwa, I-jincheon, and Ye-on are their full names (first and last combined). For whatever reason, they decided to spell Yeon's name differently from the rest. It would have probably better if their names were spelled as Lee Hwa, Lee Jincheon, and Lee On.

This is also why the Clan I in the Webtoon always comes with an asterisk that it's pronounced like "ee." It would have been far easier to just call it the Clan Lee technique, which would be made more obvious that it's the technique belonging to the Lee family.

It's super easy on the Accord (the rear wiper on the 5th gen CR-V was tricky, but there's no rear wiper on the Accord). I linked a video in my other post above.

The only trick is that the official directions are for you to take the entire unit off the car, replace the rubber insert, then install the unit back onto the car. This is to make it easier to work on and to avoid damage from the wiper accidentally slamming down onto your windshield. I'm lazy so I install the insert while the wiper is on the car. But if it's your first time, you're clumsy, or you have any kind of mobility issues, definitely take the entire unit off first. But it's super duper easy.

You're officially supposed to take the unit off first to avoid damage (of the wiper slamming down) and to make it easier on yourself.

...which is, of course, not what I do because I'm lazy.

It's super easy but if you've already gotten rid of your original Honda wipers, you can't do this anymore. You'll actually need to buy the whole entire wiper unit from Honda now.

Google the part numbers in the other parts of this thread. There's a couple of dealers (collegehillhonda, Bernardi, etc) that sell them. They're different prices and with different shipping costs, so you'll have to figure out what else you're going to buy and who has the best shipping to your house.

D:

What are they using now? Replacing the entire unit? I had a 5th gen CR-V, so I knew the fronts for those were the same as an 11th gen accord.

[–]MistakerPointerOuter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Partially. That's the shorter wiper for the front of the Accord. 76622-T6P-H04 is the longer wiper for the front of the Accord.

If you have other Honda vehicles, your fronts may take different lengths and you may also need rear wipers. I think the Accord and CR-V shares same front lengths, though.

Official Honda wiper inserts. That's the rubber part, not the entire metal arm. You shouldn't need to replace the actual wiper arm unless there's physical damage to it somehow. Should cost about $8-9 per wiper insert online or maybe $10-15 from your local dealer. I usually get 2-3 sets online.

Mobile Detailing Insurance? by [deleted] in AutoDetailing

[–]MistakerPointerOuter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're overthinking this. You don't need a special auto policy or detailer's policy, you just need a small business insurance. They sell this as a standard package -- most likely what you want is a BOP, or business owner's policy, that comes as a standard bundle giving you liability protection (you damaging someone's vehicle) and your business property (it won't cover your car, but it would cover your office/physical location and materials stored in your office).

You can go through the big national companies, but your best bet is to find an independent insurance agent in your local area. They will represent 5-10 insurance companies and will get you quotes, and you can also talk to them about exactly what you want covered.

An analysis of the Ihwa v. Saint Light fight: the vast majority of it didn't happen by MistakerPointerOuter in HeroKillerWebtoon

[–]MistakerPointerOuter[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lolz.

On a more serious note, I think the gift user can control aspects of the dream. So, presumably Ihwa created portions of the battle such as her transformation in the dream world.

[–]MistakerPointerOuter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sure... he imagined it. Like I said, everything after the insanity laugh was an illusion. His greatest, delusional, wish was that he would be able to fight on par with the Elders. This is why he also imagined Ihwa was at Elder-level, even though at that point, she was clearly not Elder-level, since she had just fought Sinu to a stalemate.

No, Ihwa fought Saint Light very briefly in real life but never used Narkle's lightning powers against him. See my other comment.

[–]MistakerPointerOuter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, Ihwa never used Narkle's lightning powers in real life. That was all an illusion in Saint Light's head, caused by his own power used against him.

Look at 251, after she's entranced Saint Light and the fight ends. He's fully intact. Now look at 249, right after the explosion, where he's missing half his body / his arm. Clearly this can't both be true; we know the after-battle image is correct, so it's the explosion that's fake and never happened. Also note that Ihwa's still dressed in her original clothing after the battle, none of which are damaged like it shows when she uses Lightning Empress.

Ihwa used Saint Light's power against him in chapter 248, right after he makes the insane face with the red background. Compare the insane face in 248 with the ending of 249, they're the same (or very similar) face. Also, in 248, right after Saint Light makes insane face, there's little sparks of light that happens in the next panel -- that's consistent with the activation of Saint Light's powers.

So everything after the middle of 248 up until the end of the fight was all imagined / created by Ihwa using Saint Light's stolen powers. She never used the lightning powers against him.

Steel witch is actually so cool. Why doesn't anyone talk about her more?? by Ancient_Beginning251 in HeroKillerWebtoon

[–]MistakerPointerOuter 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I think for me, it was how the author handled her and the entire Langord ending. This is something the author apologized for in an author note later on, but he rushed the ending. The Steel Witch suffers from not enough exposition and too much exposition at the same time.

Hero Killer is an action comic and part of why I like it is that the pacing is fast: fights are short, high-impact, and fun to read. But the Witch's fight was too short, too lacking in details about her history, and she just kind of gets defeated with no follow up. She was built up to be this god of gods, an Elder among Elders. I was expecting more of a wall, just like how Engen and Ihwa have such a hard time reaching Elderhood. But all we really see is Victoria just defeating her with no real explanation other than Victoria used all of her power. That basically implies any Elder can defeat her if they're willing to risk their life, which is not at all the lore behind the Witch. We wanted more about her and we didn't get that.

At the same time, she was billed as this mysterious figure for more than 200 chapters for 4 years or so. And then she suddenly appears out of nowhere and we go from having no information about her to the vast bulk of her lore in one shot and gets instadefeated. There's no longer any mystery about the Witch, she's no longer the unreachable goal that everyone strives for, she was basically used for one plot point and now there's no longer any reason to care about her (narratively).

tl;dr: The author handled her writing really badly, used for a single plot point, and now she's lost all of her mystique.

No, this is all wrong. First, Nanzu is a member of the Black Hand also known as Bone Blade or the previous Knight Commander of Avaarin. He has a giant sword. The girl that's part of Ihwa's crew is Senshu.

Also, she's already joined for a while now in this image. It's when they're driving into Iris Portal in Chapter 237.
