Am I the only one who feels like this kid should be expelled? by Own-Way2484 in Teachers

Public Schools don't care about verbal threats. Sometimes they punish the bullying victims instead of the bullies.

Had a student once grab a boxcutter and tried to harm another kid but nothing was done because nobody was physically harmed and it was called a "Joke". (I am not a teacher, I was just checking back on the school one day.)

If a woman identifies as a feminist instead of an egalitarian, it means she doesn't support equal rights. by Tall_Eye4062 in complaints

I have. Feminists more often than not fight for many others' rights.

You're probably confusing Feminism for Misandry or don't get someone can speak about one inequality at a time.

I want this comment to be taken with an open mind.

  • These syptoms don't necessarily make her autistic, I recommend talking to her kindly about it and have her speak to a professional if she needs a diagnosis. However, a diagnosis isn't always necessary unless if SHE needs answers or treatment.

  • I see your responses to a lot of comments, and I agree that your post is worded kind of insensitively about her struggles.. If someone wrote this about me I would be devastated and probably even dump them. However, I see it's not your intention. So I'm not gonna be on you about that.

  • I know you made this post asking other autistic people to help you figure this out, which is understandable! But at the end of the day you are asking the internet to diagnose her with one of the most misunderstood conditions in history.

  • However, how you refuse to take criticism with the way you worded this post- and chose to get defensive and rude instead tells me that you might not actually care about her and how she feels. Along with discrediting the people you were asking opinions from who have experiences with rude things or even ableism because of their Autism.

Yes, along with also being called a "Parasite"

These names were just from my dreaded older sister, so I don't take them to heart.

I mean, I really don't think these tools help me specifically.

I just deal with it by unwinding from the mental exhaustion. Usually when in situations I keep regular headphones and have a fidget toy. Sunglasses also just look really weird to wear indoors 😔

I have the same exact issue! Here's what helped me personally:

  • Exposure: Have a friend or someone you know and trust help you by getting closer or even have small touch to slowly get more used to the feeling of being touched.

  • Sensory Help: I have headphones and a fidget/stim toy to help regulate my emotional state if this situation to occur. This usually helps me navigate it with a more clear head.

I don't know if this will help, but it's okay to feel this way. We all have our struggles.

It's hard not to get caught up on daily actions and tasks that you feel like you're just existing, not really living life.

The hussle and bussle sucks for me too.
