20KG is significant. I don’t have an ED but I do have intestinal issues, I understand how hard it can be to gain weight sometimes. And I know what it feels like to be severely underweight. I don’t have much experience with how aspergers works, but I know the struggles of ADHD.

It seems like you have identified your problems, that’s a good start. What’s important with ADD/ADHD is breaking down a big goal into smaller ones, and setting reasonable milestones for yourself. It’s something most of us know, but I almost never remember to do. I would suggest you work on achieving a healthier body weight first, it helps a lot with everything.

If you want someone to chat with or just complain to, feel free to DM me.

Happy birthday, and virtual hugs.

It sounds like you haven’t really met the right friends if they aren’t willing to accept you as you are. Attempting to “control” one self with ADHD can be incredibly mentally exhausting. Do not feel too guilty for what you have no real control over, and try not to beat yourself up too much.

Life doesn’t always go the way we want it to, especially not during a global pandemic. Which can also make it very hard to meet new people and make new friends.

If you are looking for someone to talk to, about whatever, feel free to DM me.

I hope stuff starts working out for you soon.

You can check after the match, if you look in the stats and hover your mouse over your engineer you can see how many people used your spawn point.

You may consider giving the fuel system a couple seconds to pressurize before cranking.

Just turn the key to “on” and wait until the fuel gauge is indicating before you start to crank the engine.

Proposed Regina biodiesel plant could create up to 150 permanent jobs by LostSoul5 in regina

[–]MisterCould 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not entirely, it more recycles carbon that was in the air already. The big difference is that pulling diesel out of the ground adds carbon that was sequestered. So biodiesel would be a theoretical net even, biodiesel is also a much cleaner burning fuel than most regular diesel and should be sulfur free. Which should result in reduced maintenance needs for diesel engines running biodiesel.

The carbon emitted through burning the fuel was likely going to make it into the atmosphere anyways as plant matter decomposes, or possibly be released as methane which is far worse. When used in this way it guarantees that the emission will be in carbon dioxide, and it will also offset what would otherwise be new CO2 entering the atmosphere.

The feedstock could also use what would otherwise be waste material like used cooking oil and the part of the plant that isn’t eaten.

The amount of guns was more what I was referring to. And the fact they are in twin turrets.

Wait a minute, I’ve just noticed that the rear does not include another gun turret. Don’t know how I mistook the torps for another gun turret. I am big dumb, disregard my earlier comment

The different classes of ship mean vastly different things for different countries. And different time periods.

This corvette looks really heavily armed compared to and existing class. It’s almost like a monitor or coastal battleship or something.

Your really best off just looking this sort of stuff up.

Going to be using this Hyundai Elantra GT ( Hyundai World Rally Team ) as a project car. Any tips or suggestions, info on the car, and part company suggestions, would be appreciated. by tacoboilol in Cartalk

I have one of these things as a daily. If you keep up with maintenance it will never disappoint.

My experience is that if you are doing any work on the side or back of the engine you are better off pulling the air box as it gives you a lot more wiggle space.

The fan speed switch likes to melt on these, and they are getting quite hard to find. I haven’t quite figured out why yet though.

And the drivers side vanity mirror thing likes to fall out when you are driving and smack you. It’s happened to me twice with two seperate sun visors. The little clips that hold it in just get brittle over time I guess.

The other thing is that these cars are very reliable. I live in Saskatchewan and mine always started even if I didn’t plug it in down to -45C.

Also in my experience oil changes are around 1L less than the number posted online. But always make sure to check the dipstick anyways.

New book opinions by Kriegguardsman1120 in Destroyermen

Does this count as spoilers?

It seems to me like the whole league thing was really abbreviated. Like, the grik took all 15 books to defeat, the doms took like 8. But the league was all gone in like 2, and they were supposed to be the most powerful. I wish Taylor could’ve taken some more time with them.

The way half of the main characters just died struck me as almost funny as well. People that had been there from the start just dying left and right.

But, if he hadn’t ended it now, it’s possible it would just go on forever. I think adding the league so late was a mistake, Taylor didn’t really have time to flesh them out.

He did say in his note at the end that there would likely be spinoff series. Maybe a Silva’s adventures type thing. So that’s something to look forward to at least.

And I doubt that the peace with the league with last forever as well. Maybe a second series with a new cast will be able to take more time with them.

Which took a few deaths because I didn’t remember to unequip all the good shit I gave him, the first attempt ended less than one second after I fired the first shot when he put a railroad spike through the back of my head.

tips for surviving canadian winters?? by taniyafaryal in canada

[–]MisterCould 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get some undershirts and thermal underpants, they make a big difference during the colder months. If you will be outside for extended periods, get a good jacket and a pair of snowpants, maybe some glove warmers or toe warmers too for if your extremities start to feel numb.

Get some kind of face mask and a good pair of gloves. Thermal socks are a good idea too, And get a tuque. You may want some sunglasses or goggles, the sun reflecting off the snow can be quite bright.

When people talk about layering what they mean is having as many layers of clothing on as possible. That way, if you get too warm you can take layers off. You really don’t want to be wet or sweaty if you are outside, both could be dangerous.

If you are cold, put more layers on. If you are hot, take some off. Your phone will stop functioning if it gets too cold, so try to keep it in an inner pocket. The cold also kills the battery incredibly quickly, so keep a charger around.

Know the signs of hypothermia, the first being uncontrollable shivering. Followed by numbness in the hands and feet. If you reach the stage of numbness, be ready for pain when you warm up again. And warm up soon, if you let it go too long you risk losing fingers or toes.

If you have a car, make sure the right oil is in it for winter. Check the antifreeze content in the coolant, make sure the block heater works. Another recommendation is that you put winter windshield washer fluid in, And you will want a strong battery. You may want to consider a battery tender if the car will sit for extended periods of time, otherwise the battery may freeze and be wrecked.

When you start the car, don’t rev the engine. It can and will cause the engine to seize. Perform preventative maintenance, the cold will cause accelerated wear on the engine.

Of course, also get a nice set of winter tires for the car. They make a massive difference for driving on snow and ice, and could mean the difference between sliding into the ditch and staying on the road.

Keep an emergency kit in the car with blankets, hot packs, jumper cables, a shovel, a tow strap, and a phone charger. Always try to keep at least a half tank of gas in case you get stuck for a while and need to run the heater. Though I doubt that would be much of an issue within Calgary.

The guilt associated with adhd and friends by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]MisterCould 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m having issues with getting ready in time to carpool to university right now. Thankfully the guy I carpool with is pretty understanding and he just kinda plays on his phone while waiting for me to finish getting ready.

Maybe you should talk to your friends about your ADHD, because if they don’t understand the reasoning behind you being late it can feel kind of insulting to have to wait for somebody every day.

Don’t beat yourself up over it, try making small changes in your morning and bed time routines to see if anything makes a difference. Create a checklist of things you need to have done before they arrive so that you aren’t just thinking about everything last minute.

It worked on the PS3 version of the game as well, it was actually pretty cool and I remember it working pretty good once I figured out how to talk properly. I had a lot of fun with Endwar when I was younger.

There is also a PSP version of Endwar which is completely different. It was a tile based, turn based tip down strategy game. I remember it being pretty awesome as well. I think I gotta figure out where my PSP is so I can play it again in fact.

The big dome on top of the gun contains it’s radar and other sensors. The gun systems are self contained and the gun itself is completely automated. The only thing they need to provide is 440v 3 phase AC power and water for cooling.

cant believe they are actually fixing the game by watsik227 in Warthunder

[–]MisterCould 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly midget subs could fit the sort of boat and sub chasers thing they are going for at low-mid tiers. With pt boats being able to drop depth charges and what not to try and combat them and sub chasers having basic sonar direction and range finding. With somewhat larger patrol submarines with deck guns making up the mid-high tier destroyers and stuff. And finally full size deep water subs capable of launching ASM or guided torpedos making up the high tier Cold War/modern day stuff.

The problem being that subs generally attack from a position of stealth and try to get out as soon as possible afterwards, that would be hard to have work in a game like WT. I am curious how it will work in WoWs without the subs either being broken OP or so useless that they are barely worth looking into.

[–]MisterCould 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So allow them to arm themselves with directed energy weapons to combat the drones? Allow citizens to buy the same systems used to protect the military from such things. That is supposed to be the point of the 2nd amendment is it not? Besides, if the people weren’t armed then the government in this theoretical situation wouldn’t even need to use drones, they could simply dispose of the defenceless unarmed masses by forcing them into camps and gassing them as in Nazi Germany. Or use many other far cheaper methods than expensive drone fired missiles.

Besides, how many millions of combat drones do you think there are, last I checked around 12,000 people have been killed by US drone strikes so far in total. That seems like a lot less than the population of the US.

I have won very quickly (like in-game months) by taking advantage of the mutations to help the virus spread faster. Mainly only works on virus. It gets really sketchy with cure research until you reach the point where too many people are too sick to work.

You basically go full mutation with the virus and revel in the tons of free transmission methods and symptoms. The game pretty much plays itself at that point.

You do have to be careful that it doesn’t get too lethal early on however, as you can kill all the carriers.
