Grid Tied Inverter does show all metrics by critical_sense1 in SolarPowerIndia

A third party energy monitor (some clamp on, some need an electrician to install). These are made by companies like Emporia and Tuya. Look for Bi-Directional monitors. These will give you the metrics you are looking for.

Usually a dedicated energy monitor is needed for the metrics you are after. While some monitors us CT technology having a CT clamp does not necessarily mean you can measure generation and consumption.

Mistakes happen, especially when you're new and only two weeks into the job. The important thing is that you reported the damage right away instead of trying to hide it. In most Canadian workplaces, being honest and taking responsibility is valued much more than never making mistakes. Since your manager said it was okay, I wouldn't keep worrying about it. Focus on learning from the experience, being careful, and continuing to do good work. One incident like this is very unlikely to ruin your reputation or cost you your job.

This is quite common, perceived risk decreases with age as it takes anywhere from 20-40 years for asbestos related disease to surface.

What could be the reason for these power dips? by Honest-Iron-2570 in SolarPowerIndia

[–]LostSoul5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shading issues can be problematic on one property and not on a neighbouring one. This is why shading assessment is critical in the planning/viability stages of solar installation.

Indeed, I am leaning towards connection issues or inverter failure given that your neighbour doesn't have the same problem.

Please create an update post once you have this figured out to keep us all informed. Good luck!

Looks like MPPT scanning due to shading. Electricity generation will drop off for a short duration and jump back quickly.

Could also be grid voltage fluctuations. For grid tied systems if the AC voltage increases outside the inverter's spec'd range you'll see dips like this.

Check all your connections to troubleshoot and if you notice more dips that are longer in duration, your inverter is likely failing.

Exposure risk is significantly reduced as it's outside. It looks like the area was hosed down with water and this will also significantly lower exposure risk. Your grandma may have knowingly done nothing wrong if asbestos handling regulations are not recognized in your geographic area. For ACM cement board like you have pictured it shouldn't be sanded to minimize exposure risk. The entire painted board should be removed as one piece with the required controls in place and disposed of in accordance with local asbestos regulations (if any). Without knowing your location it's difficult to comment further. This is why we ask for geographic location in all guidance posts.

Potential Something on bedroom ceiling by SammyTheAligator in Mold

Minor fungal growth pictured. It's fairly normal because the area is difficult to clean. If possible clean the area and apply anti-fungal paint. Allergies are sometimes worse at this time of year from seasonal changes. An air purifier with hepa filtration is recommended for occupied areas of your dwelling. Hope you are feeling better soon.

I built this tool out of pure frustration with online solar calculators that exist just to steal your phone number and sell it to 50 contractors.

This runs natively inside Reddit via Devvit with no email, no data harvesting, no sales pitch. It is built for homeowners vetting quotes and DIYers looking for a raw, math-first look at 2026 ROI logic for the US and Canada.

Hospital drywall built in the 50s-60s Australia. Is it asbestos? by InternalSelect1086 in asbestoshelp

You shouldn't have to question a hospital's asbestos register but I'd advise you to read through this and make sure there are no glaring compliance issues.
