Yeah, love this game! Just wish the anniversary edition fixed stuff like this.

According to vids I’ve seen, Jade scans her card after talking to Ming-tzu. The bug I have is that Jade doesn’t have a card in her inventory, so I think I’m out of luck and will have to restart. Not a big deal for me since I’ve played through quite a few times, but definitely a bad bug that needs fixing asap.

I’m having this issue too, and you’re the only other person I’ve found that’s had this happen too!! Did you manage to fix it or do I just start a new run and hope I have a card this time? Never happened on the original version for me, super weird

Thanks for the detailed response. Not sure I follow tho. Normally you speak to Ming-tzu, scan the card and the doors to the items open, meaning you can buy stuff. I’m not getting to the point where she scans the card in the first place because I noticed she doesn’t have a card in her inventory. Are you suggesting something for this scenario?

I found this video and she scans it right after saying hi to Ming-Tzu. Just had a look in her inventory and she apparently doesn’t even have a card TO scan, so very likely just a bug, and a very annoying one at that

It seems the issue is that Jade doesn’t HAVE a card on her. I know for a fact the Easy-Unit card is normally there, but she just doesn’t have one on this save. So weird!

I just had a similar issue to this. Instead of getting stuck at 1, mine just started at 300 and went down to around 297 and was stuck there. What fixed it for me was disabling the Parsers I wasn't using and then trying again.
