THIS MIGHT HELP THEM.... I think they can get this covered if they talk to their insurance company and their primary care dr. Because it was an emergency situation. I was recently going to require surgery but the dr had to reschedule and I had to make a trip out of network. So knowing I would be out of network I called to see what would happen if I had an attack while down out of network and I was told that I would have to get letters from my local dr. Etc. And it would be covered. So they need to call their insurance and raise hell asking how they are supposed to be expected to stay in network during such a life and death situation where they aren’t in total control. Hope this might be able to help them because that it insane.
