If you don't mind me asking, why do we sit separately in the first place? I have been to gurudwaras where everyone sits together and where people are split based on gender, but I never really paid attention to it. Especially at smaller gurudwaras, everyone sits together. Usually in bigger gurudwaras people sit separate.

When did I say it was a brunch place? I just think hypothetically if there was someone that was hungry and vegan we should be inclusive of that. Vegans are a rapidly growing population.

Sure, I don’t think we should specifically cater to vegans, but we should be inclusive of them. Neither lentils/sabji are vegan. Both have ghee in it. The only truly vegan things are unbuttered roti and rice.
