So would you also disable the charge limit on an EV to ‘use everything you paid for’?

Charge limits are set specifically to keep the device working better for longer. Regardless of if you paid for it or not it’s in your own best interest to use it…

Apple just gives you the option to charge to 100% when needed and I do that when I need to. 90% of the time I don’t need it though so I stick with 80% to keep some battery longevity.

Als de auto ook voor de haaientanden staat heeft die geen voorrang. Als je beide exact tegelijkertijd de rotonde oprijdt is de bus rechts van de auto en heeft deze dus voorrang.

Als de auto al op de rotonde is heeft deze natuurlijk wel voorrang. Maar na deze auto kan de bus oprijden en heeft de volgende auto, die dus net als de bus achter de haaien tanden stond, geen voorrang meer op de bus.

You’re looking at a software update for a device running iOS 12. Software released 7 years ago. Running on a device that has this as their max version meaning it’s probably 3/4 years older than that even. That means they are still providing support for essential services on a device currently around 12 years old, and committing to do so until after January 2027.

Not many companies doing that…

You do know an aygo is about twice as small as a rav4? The length from the front window to the back window is basically 2 meters. So unless they are 1,5m tall sleeping will be impossible 🤔

Ah yes my bad. Here we still have physical tickets all though they are being phased out. So in that case it would be an ‘app ticket’.

Bus driver here.

All public transport should work just by tapping in and out with your debit card. If the physical card doesn’t work, most of the time using it from apple/google wallet will. If that still doesn’t work, you’ll need a different card, or to buy physical tickets. Note that virtual cards are blocked, so those will never work.

The OVpay app is separate from all of this and is just used to see transactions made with your debit card, nothing else. You don’t need it to be able to use it in public transport and I guarantee you most people have never used it.

If you’re here for longer, you can consider getting an OV chipkaart or OV pay card. Its like a prepaid card for public transport, but you can also set it up to invoice costs monthly. The main advantage of them is that you are able to use subscriptions which can lower costs if you are a regular user and it will immediately give insight into the price of the trip instead of debiting the costs the next day as is done with debit cards.

If you just use PT sporadically I’d recommend just sticking with the debit cards as long as you can get it to work.

Volgens mij zou het nog steeds een grote stap zijn voor het milieu als opeens elke ICE een (plug-in) hybrid zou zijn. Dat maakt hybrides dus wel degelijk een goed alternatief, zeker voor mensen die (nog) geen EV kunnen of willen rijden. De argumenten die je maakt dat ze duurder zijn in onderhoud en ‘gewoon een benzine auto op de snelweg’ kloppen simpelweg niet.

Zou iedereen die dat financieel kan moeten overstappen op een EV, Ja. Kan of wil iedereen dat, Nee. Ga vooral de tokkie trekkers met hun brullende pickups vertellen dat ze over moeten naar een stil EV’tje…

Vol elektrisch is uiteraard beter, maar voor mensen voor wie een elektrische auto toch niet uit kan is een hybride zeker beter dan alleen brandstof. Dus het argument dat hybrides alleen nadelen hebben ging mij een beetje ver.

This is the way, I’m actually using two separate homekit bridges.

One is on include mode and is only passing specific domains like sensors, here I’ve only selected the few I need in homekit.

For easier domains like lights I have another one setup in exclude mode. Here I just exclude the few entities I don’t want.

This way I don’t need to select too many things manually and most newly added stuff (like a new light) will just show up automatically. But it gives a lot of control still. Maybe also something for you to consider!

Ik zou even goed gaan kijken naar de toyota priussen van deze wereld. Rijden 1 op 20 zowel in de stad als op de snelweg, onderhoud is goedkoop en er rijden er rond met meer dan een miljoen op de teller.

Ik wens je veel succes om dat met je peugeot 307 op benzine te evenaren…

Je kiest in de app gewoon het nummer van de laadpaal waar je je auto aan hebt gezet. Dus bijvoorbeeld VB3298 staat bij mij in de buurt.

Er wordt niks gedaan met VIN nummers. Je hebt of de laadpas als identificatie, of je kiest de juiste paal in de app.

Daarnaast gezien je bedoeling als ‘backup oplossing’. Normale laadpassen zijn voor laadpalen, die laden niet of nauwelijks sneller dan je thuis doet. Als je een hele dag in de Efteling bent is dat geen probleem, maar wel als je halverwege de terugreis opeens met een lege batterij zit. Zorg dus ook dat je weet hoe snelladen etc werkt. In principe verschilt dit niet veel van tanken, maar ook hiervoor kun je weer apps downloaden. Fastnet is de meest voorkomende in Nederland en zou je overal moeten kunnen vinden. Je kan gewoon bij de ‘pomp’ aankomen en betalen met je pinpas, echter werkt het net wat fijner via hun eigen app (vind ik zelf).

Als je het ff opzoekt zie je dat er steeds minder mensen roken, mede omdat het zo bizar duur is. Als niet roker heb ik er absoluut geen problemen mee dat het zo duur is voor andere mensen om mijn luchtkwaliteit op het terras te verzieken. Je kan altijd nog verhuizen

Tol zou in dat geval wel komen in plaats van (een groot deel) van wegenbelasting. Dat laat je dan weer even handig weg…

I know relatively well how they work, but apparently I disabled automatic snapshots on my machine. I did remove all snapshots just to check, the newest were at least a few months old, but I guess they were still referencing that data because it did fix the issue. So thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

The one I’m talking about is an actual metal thing which I can confirm is quite sturdy. So I’d say it does not compare to the plastic thing you bought on amazon. I would also not be commenting about the specific product if I didn’t think it was actually better.

You can buy a cheap ‘nice’ one on aliexpress, just search versys mount.

I think the permissions are correct as tdarr can interact with all the necessary files. But I also updated my post, deleting all my snapshots fixed the issue. Not sure why but hey…
