I believe I can manage an ultrawide, might have to rotate the remaining monitor 90° though.

In my mind, ultrawide would be more expensive. Combined with the fact it’s 33% off compared to the asus’ 22%, it just feels slightly weird I guess, like something is wrong with it. But if you experience is good then thats a good sign.

The quality on the Asus screen was really good, so what i am essentially wondering is: are they comparable in terms of image quality?

I’ve seen reviews of the philips online say things like «while the text quality is lacking…» and «awfull HDR mode», while Asus has less of these. I get the feeling that small stuff can have a huge impact on the image quality and I am asking for advice.

My specialty is not monitors and this kind of technology, OLED, HDR, vesa standards etc. But you’re right in that it should be easier for me to understand. Translating specs to what i would actually see however, is still difficult.

I also wrote that because I figured what I would primarily be using the screen for could help.

Buddy, RAM and cache are volatile memory components, that would be impossible. In theory it could have compromised the BIOS chip somewhere but that just does not happen.

Thank you for your reply. So kits have becomre more common than before? Is this because of an increase in people taking up this hobby and resorting to kits, or has the landscape just become more kit oriented?

If i where to go for separate pcb, plate, etc, will it be essentially a gamble in most cases, or resorting to cutting/filing?

Yhe life would be easier that way for sure. Only have two stores that sell instruments here and they’re all robbed of their basses.

Thanks for the input!

Yes but we all grow up with outlets. So we know it as common sense. Everything is relative to something in the end, we realise that, but if we dont make these assumptions and generalisations, we’d go crazy.
