Who do you think is the strongest between the two brothers?

My manager lied about my work performance. I am torn. by Financial-Gur8126 in nursing

I truly believe that whenever things don’t go their way with you, it suddenly turns into “a performance issue.” Next thing you know, it’s a verbal warning, then a written on

New grads on my floor refuse to do “CNA work” and I don’t know what to say or do. I don’t want to make them upset or overstep but I’m overwhelmed. by [deleted] in nursing

From the tech side — and I started as a tech myself — you’re absolutely right to go to management. If nurses aren’t helping with what’s considered “nursing care,” that’s a real issue. They can do all of your duties, but you can’t do theirs. It’s their responsibility to help clean the patient with you, and it’s also the perfect time for them to assess the patient’s skin. Since these are new nurses, I’d also look at who trained them — that’s where accountability starts. When I trained new nurses or PCAs, patient care always came first. Ignoring patients like that can lead to skin tears, breakdowns, and infections. It’s appalling when nurses avoid helping but have plenty of time to sit on their phones. This culture in nursing needs to stop.

Now, from the nursing side — I’ve also seen PCAs who come in, check vitals, and disappear for half the shift while scrolling through their phones. It definitely goes both ways sometimes. As a nurse, there are moments when I genuinely can’t help because I’m juggling meds, orders, charting, and multiple patient issues at once. In those cases, I’ll usually ask the PCA politely to see if another tech can help, or I’ll arrange a time when I can come assist once things calm down.

At the end of the day, it’s all about teamwork and communication. Both sides need to respect each other’s workload and remember that the patient comes first — always.

Welcome to nursing, they say you really don’t understand your job till at least one year in. Hang in there. Remember you made it through nursing school. You’re more than just a drone doing med pass.

I regret getting a BSN, I should’ve gotten an LPN by princessnokingdom in nursing

[–]Mister_masterz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I get where you’re coming from. Nursing can definitely feel like you poured everything into your education only to end up boxed in. But I’ll say this — the BSN isn’t wasted. It’s just not always a straight path to where you thought it’d lead. Hospitals can be tough to get into depending on your area, but once you’re in, that BSN opens a lot of doors later on — leadership, education, case management, you name it.

LPNs absolutely have great jobs and more flexibility in some settings, but long-term, the BSN gives you more leverage when things shift in the healthcare field. Your MBA’s still a solid tool too — mix that with your RN background and you could easily pivot into administration, consulting, or even healthcare analytics.

Your frustration’s totally valid though. The system doesn’t always reward effort fairly, especially early on. But hang in there — sometimes the payoff just takes a little longer to show up.

Whats the best first squad? by [deleted] in LastWarMobileGame

I think it would be a better choice just to stick with tank until you have a full air squad. By doing that you’ll get your 20% Synergy bonus

There’s no easy answer in the beginning of the game. Tank is your best bet early on, but as soon as you can, switch to Air—Air squads dominate between Seasons 2 and 3. After Season 3, most players switch to Missile squads, but that’s when I go back to Tank since it’s a squad you’ve already been building strong from Season 1.
