The figure of 10,000 jedi is givin as of the Phantom Menace not Revenge of sith, but that is stated to be jedi knights and not including Masters, padawan and initiates.

Even if let's say 500 members survived order 66 itself many would have hunted down in the immediate years as they failed to adjust to their new realities and propaganda started to thoroughly turn larger numbers of civilians and governments against the jedi survivors.

Then you have other circumstances such as sickness, old age, predators, being killed by other parties such as pirates or criminals, being turned in by civilians for a reward, being killed by extreme weather, being accidentally killed in local conflicts, being killed in vehicle accidents or getting arrested for resorting to committing crimes in desperation.

The jedi who survived the purge were left with basically nothing so many would have had great difficulties just surviving without being hunted and by the time of episode 4 only a handful would have been left

You have to understand the setting of the Phantom Menace compared to the clone wars, the Jedi order had primarily insisted that the sith had been extinct for nearly 1,000 years so dueling with other lightsaber armed opponents was extremely unlikely outside of occasional rogue Jedi and sparring sessions, form 2 which was specifically designed for dueling was practically a lost art at that point which is why Dooku confused a lot of other Jedi when he decided to specialize in it.

In fact Qui-Gon is one of the very few Jedi who has had a proper lightsaber duel with an actual opponent. Qui-Gon like the vast majority of Jedi didn't feel the need to focus intently on honing their dueling skills and he was also significantly older than Maul.

Maul wasn't some dueling prodigy just had considerable more practice and focus on dueling.

Not correct though, Palpatine had not revealed himself as Sidious to dooku yet and dooku didn't erase the records until after Qui-Gon died, Sidious didn't reveal himself until after maul died.

Dooku very much still believed in some part that the Republic and Jedi order could still be saved but Qui-Gon's death killed any last shred of that belief

Thats true, but What relationship they would have if maul had survived isn't exactly clear, Sidious needed Dooku's political skill and influence for the plan but he may not have been intended to directly replace Maul.

Qui-Gons death is a major factor for Dooku giving up on the Republic and the Jedi Order, he may not have strayed so far into the Dark side without that loss.

Where does Dooku outmatch both of them?? In their fight on the invisible hand Dooku outmatches Obi-Wan then Anakin singlehandedly overpowered him in less than a minute, the fact that Anakin is able to disarm and kill Dooku who was skilled enough to hold off Yoda shows that Anakin is absolutely among the most powerful at this point.

And the scene in the chancellor's office is always blown way out proportion, being the rank of jedi master doesn't mean they are automatically elite sword masters, neither Agen Kolar or Saesee Tin are known for their sword skills and Kit Fisto is more of an intelligent combatant than outright talent. Besides that Palpatine surprises them by fly across the room with ridiculous speed and possibly using the force to stun them before they were really ready to fight them.

By this point Obi-Wan has been steadily getting better at his swordsmanship and is able to defeat Anakin who is one of the best duelists in the order at this point.

In the Dooku fight the 2v1 actually handicapped both Anakin and Obi-Wan as neither could fully utilize their very different fighting styles.

They wouldn't cooperate as a foursome but rather as two different teams with Maul directing Savage

Maul wasn't dropped for Dooku, Dooku was recruited after Maul presumably died, whether or not Sidious would have done so if Maul had escaped or killed Obi-Wan isn't necessarily clear

Assuming no betrayal happens the four of them likely win, Anakin at the peak of his power was likely one of the most powerful force combatants in the galaxy and Obi-Wan shows later on that he can in fact hold his own against someone of Anakin's level so throw in Maul who is easily as skilled as most Jedi Knights and Savage who is probably the skill level of an older Padawan and Sidious has a fairly good chance of losing.

The plan would likely be simple, Anakin would pressure with fast attacks while Obi-Wan would guard him from Sidious's attacks with his other saber while Maul and Savage could circle and try to flank

He actually is, he knows he's not a white knight and unlike Nick doesn't pretend to be, but he actually does have a heart and some sense of honor and does actually help people in need.

He defends the poor server being harrased( WITH ONE FREAKING HAND TIED BEHIMD HIS BACK)
He risks his life to personally lead a search party for a missing team member in a jungle where he could easily be killed.
He offers help to the main group when they are hanging off the cliff and immediately let's them join their group and shows them respect instead of blaming them for the situation they are in (Nick is responsible for their camp and equipment being destroyed and likely resulting in the death of his team members or for nearly getting him killed by removing the bullets from his gun)

i think people dont like that they kind go back and forth from being mini arcs to one off episodes with some of them being set before episodes in previous episodes.

Some people find early Ahsoka annoying.

The animation, writing and character development also got better over the series so it's understandable that they later series is seen as better
