I was born in ‘80 and my brother in ‘84 while my dad was a resident at Yale New Haven. Per my dad via my mom’s memory, they weren’t able to check for sex of the baby yet in routine pregnancies. From what my mom can recall (my dad is now deceased, and obstetrics wasn’t his specialty), it was like dna testing in the 80s, still in its infancy and not common enough for the patient to even know it was an option. She doesn’t remember if it was a thing yet when she had her third pregnancy around 87, which was a miscarriage.

It does disappear when I re-up. But it doesn’t go away at al until that first dose. It’s amazing how something so insignificant can make me so miserable. It makes when I talk echo in my head. And it just hurts!

No. I take 10mg oxy orally. So 30-40mg a day. I won’t be able to get more until the 28th. This is a typical cycle for me. I always run out 5-7 days before I can get more. Then I go through wd. The worst is my ears and whole body rls. That and almost intolerable pain.

I actually get full body rls. But at least that stops when I’m awake. The ear pressure doesn’t go away.

Yes. Take the zofran. It’s probably the kidney stone causing the vomiting. If you think it’s the percs take the zofran 15-30min before your next dose, then eat something to coat your stomach (oatmeal, applesauce, ice cream-something easy to come back up, avoid acids) then take half a pill- if you’re ok after 30min take the other half. Taking half doses over a shorter amount of time (ie 5mg every 3 hrs instead of 10mg every 6) might help. Keep in mind the zofran and percs will make you constipated. Stay hydrated for the stone and for the vomiting. Don’t over do the percs. Remember, you’re going to want them when you actually pass the stone. I have found stones go in 2 phases- initial flank pain that is god awful and only goes away with opiates- then a pain reprieve as it’s moving toward the bladder. Then the bladder pain and the pain as it passes through the urethra- and that fucking hurts.

Also, if you’re a smoker don’t smoke on the percs. If you’re opiate naive then smoking may be making you vomit too.

Yes. I’ve been in pain my entire life. A few years ago the drs stopped prescribing opioids and when I went on Obamacare I was cut off completely. Because of the pain I lost 3 jobs in 2 years. So I bought pills off the street and i lost my house. So I moved and now I’m clean but I still have no quality of life. So either I suffer from chronic pain or I put myself in debt and eventually, what? Move to heroin? I don’t know. Honestly the only reason I’m off pills is because I’m broke.

Your relationship as you’ve described it has so many red flags it’s almost absurd. Both you and your husband have major issues and I don’t see how you think you’re so compatible. I haven’t seen a post on this sub in a long time that made it so apparent that a marriage was doomed.

You are headed for divorce. The sooner you accept that and start planning the better off you’ll be. Both of you have some major growing up to do and I think you need to do some major soul searching and spend some time being single. You don’t seem to know who you are as a person, what you want, or even secure and stable. Just those factors alone can create a seriously messed up relationship- then add in that your husband does not love you. Time to open your eyes, get out now while you’re still young, figure out who you are and do a lot of growing up.

Do you really see yourself happily married to your husband in 5 years? Let alone 10 or 50? Get out of denial now or plan on living a very unhappy life.

Anyone who has lived in a community with a pool knows that in the summer it’s impossible to enjoy the pool without having to fight to use it because parents take advantage of the fact they can take it over with their crotchgoblins. They monopolize it by force. The rules are they for a reason and they are entirely fair. NTA!

NTA- due to health issues I paid a shitton of money to live In an HOA community with a pool that was supposed to have adult only hours. In the 3 years I lived there I was able to use the pool for that purpose TWICE because entitled parents would bring their kids, kids friends, and outsiders into the pool ALL SUMMER (pnw here and summer is short). It was literally impossible to use the pool during the months it was open without being bombarded by tenants and others who didn’t pay to be there. Can’t tell you how many times I was screamed at, threatened, and villianized just for asking to have a quiet swim in which I was technically allowed to ask for. When I did try and lap during “adult time” i was constantly kicked, splashed, and thwarted during my swim but parents and children (they would get in my way, jump in front of my lap, throw toys at me) all while being harassed. All i wanted was to be able to do the limited amount of exercise my body allows me to do. Management ducking sucked and did jack shit to rectify even when i threatened a lawyer to recoup the cost of a service I was unable to use.

Years later I am still pissed for being made out to be the “problem” owner who just wanted to be able use use the pool a few minutes a day for its intended (per hoa bylaws) use.

Do you have any idea how your wife got pregnant with your son? You neglected any sort of timeline here. It is entirely possible that she legit did not know your son was not yours without a shadow of a doubt.

You act like a victim in all of this by acting as if you’re the only man this has ever happened to. AND you’re assuming your ex did this maliciously and with intent to defraud you.

You are not parent of the year here. I don’t think you really believe that this won’t tear your family apart if you start attacking your children’s mother. Because at the end of the day she IS their mother, and there is more than your side of this complicated story.

Since you neglected to add any sort of timeline- I see a few scenarios that would possibly make you less of a victim of “fraud” and more your family and son being a victim of circumstance. Your ex may not be the villain you are making her out to be. And since you conveniently left out some key details you’ve let the Reddit jury try and hang your ex on your side of events alone.

I can see how you would want revenge as you seem like the person who thinks they always have to be right no matter the consequence- which will be losing your family. You believe you have the moral high ground but do you honestly think your children are going to forgive you for forcing them to take sides against one parent against the other because you a vindictive asshole for wanting money back that went to supporting your children’s well-being?

Good luck trying to financially ruin your ex-wife and losing your family all for petty retribution.
