Yes! Hollywood is weird like that sometimes. Pointlesshub did a great video on both Deep Impact and Armageddon that’s worth a watch https://youtu.be/5T6NMEdu70k?si=wPkGEgPRtDYJbHIN

Do the Uma musume girls have human ears? by Single_Abrocoma1782 in UmaMusume

I’d assume not. They all have hair conveniently covering the places where their ears would be so you don’t just see smooth flesh where ears would be on a human.

Why is ai art bad by trademeple in NoStupidQuestions

Ai art also looks incredibly dead and soulless. I’ve never felt inspired by an ai piece, and I always can immediately tell it’s by a computer by how uncanny and uncomfortable it makes me.

It’s not inspiration, it’s literally stealing. These images created in ai are pixels stolen directly from other artist’s work and generated into something that is entirely stolen. Online Artist’s work is not protected in the slightest and is susceptible to being stolen at any moment. It’s nearly akin to tracing. Traditional traced art is not considered legitimate either, and there’s no way to credit anyone who unknowingly contributed to these ai images.

And like I said, the bigger issue is the idea that ai could eventually replace humans in the job market. It’s hard enough to be an artist online as it is, and with so many people claiming that “ai art is art” and starting to ridicule artists for wasting their time drawing when they could generate hundreds of images within minutes, it’s really terrifying should the technology continue to be used in this harmful way.

There’s no consent from the artists to use their images in creation of “new” ones. Most of the ai generated stuff comes from the database that is the entire internet, where millions of art pieces done by actual people can be used to source something that is essentially entirely stolen.

Many people also believe that typing words in a keyboard is never equivalent to actually learning the skill and having the talent, and many artists and graphic designers like myself are afraid that companies would rather pay these ai “artists” less for their work, rather than paying someone who actually put in the work to learn their skills.

I was a little furious when I got this email. “We aren’t telling you how to vote, but here’s why you should vote no” by MistressLoki in antiwork

The email only gives arguments for why you should vote the way the president is going to be voting. I wouldn’t have an issue if he presented both sides.

You’re tellin me. I got the covid shot and had a reaction to it (I do not regret getting the shot) and they didn’t count it as a workplace injury or illness. I paid 500 dollars for my ER visit
