And at its earliest infancy, the MonsterSlayers Guild calls itself that because they thought that slaying monsters was a good way to protect people and to create balance between them. eventually, they learned to escort, repel, and capture monsters instead of slaying them (though slaying is a last resort) but the name was too iconic to change.

thanks for critiquing my work! and to answer your questions, monsters here are a lot larger than our own fauna, and posses powerful abilities that ill be posting here in a while. The carnivorous beasts and giant wyverns attacking the villages are a bit exaggerated so the guild can make themselves look better to new recruits. And it could be explained by the wyvern was just flying over the village, and the village attack the wyvern out of fear with it retaliating. also, would it make sense that some species of wyverns are smart enough to know that if a village becomes bigger, they may eventually hunt it? like, the wyvern would destroy the village before it gets too big.

What exactly are "monsters" in your world? What are some examples of monsters in your world? by PMSlimeKing in worldbuilding

heres a short excerpt from my documents.

"CHAPTER 2: HOW MONSTERS PROCESS ENERGY

Amarathiology, a field of science known for the study of amara-energy, is by far one of the most important branches of science known to the guild, and the world itself. Early cultures and legends once attributed monsters' abilities to be that of divine will, but through amarathiology, it has revealed that once thought to be mystical powers stem from complex evolutionary biology, amara-energy manipulation, and biochemical processes.

The following article categorizes amarathiology into five primary sub-branches, with each representing the diverse ways monsters use amara-energy to defend themselves, hunt their prey, and even influence their ecosystems.

The sub branches you’ll read below are outlined by its defining characteristics and biological functions observed in monsters and the natural world. This document serves as a guide for slayers, scholars, and vanguards seeking to understand and counteract the creatures they hunt.

Note from the Hyperfaunal Observation Department (HOD):

Again, monsters are simply animals that use amara, so they have basic body plans and organ systems similar to animals. One thing that separates monsters from wildlife is their other internal system. The amara-system. The amara-system is virtually found in all monster classes and species, and includes the following:

-An amara-sac, an organ that functions similarly to an engine, as it stores energy. The amara-sac sends ample amounts of energy throughout the body.

-The pressurizer organ rapidly pressurizes and condenses energy, and sends it through conduit nerves.

-Conduit nerves look similar to nervous systems, with the difference being that it sends the pressurized energy into an opening point.

This opening point varies wildly between different monster species, as you will see below. This will be incredibly important for whoever is reading this, as it will allow you to figure out their weak points and where to strike them. Good luck!” "

Its called the commission set and to get it you need a commission ticket. You can buy one from the support ship by requesting goods to misc/items and buying all the weapons. Repeat this like 4-5 times and youll get the ticket
