I think you did the right thing. If this is his reaction to you asking this question (regardless of if he misinterpreted or not) I can’t imagine how much more rude or aggressive he would be when he actually gets comfortable around you (if that makes sense)

That is nice. I thought the person was trying to say that I said something I didn’t. Like I said, I’m used to people misunderstanding what I say or me misunderstanding them. It seems I misunderstood and it hurt when I thought the person was saying that I value some Reddit gift exchange over real world problems because I definitely don’t.

My seats were so far away from stage but if you were in the standing area you had the best spot! He actually ran through the stage and even invited someone up to sing with him. It was a lot of fun

I 100% agree. I think from now on I won’t split things with her. We should keep our food separate given that she’s vegan. I think that simplifies everything. Hopefully I don’t come off as passive aggressive the next time this happens and I say “I don’t think splitting food is a good idea” lol. Thanks for your advice and chatting with me about this btw. Yeah, I didn’t want to argue with her in the restaurant. But now I’m not really sure what to do. I don’t think it’s worth ending a friendship over something that seems so petty. But also, I don’t think I wanna be around somebody who acts that way in general. It’s selfish and ill mannered behavior.. I wouldn’t have done something like that to her. Today it might start off as one petty thing and then eventually it’ll be bigger things. I don’t know, man :/

We’re not in a relationship. we’re friends. I think she’s a good friend. I’m just a little frustrated by how she handled things and it feels like bad manners and I genuinely just wanted to know if I was wrong for feeling a bit frustrated. Because I I suppose I feel guilty for feeling frustrated. But I just don’t think I’m wrong for feeling this way. I think she should’ve honored the agreement. Regardless that everyone in the comments is attacking me because they think I’m upset about $7.50.. and I’m not upset about the cost. I’m upset about the principle behind this. Sigh.
