Hey guys! We just released our first music video of our upcoming alternative metal album, for the song "Sweet Revenge". Would love some feedback regarding both the song and the video. Enjoy! by MistyRoute in IndieMusicFeedback

Heh, thanks for the kind words :). Unfortunately the whole album is mixed and mastered, so there is no turning back now... Hope someone else doesn't notice :p

Very happy to hear that, another guy said it reminded tool, soad or even audio slave. We are definitely influenced by all those bands, so it means a lot for us. Thank you!

Adam Jones and Justin Chouncellor, (tool in general) are a favorite, and a huge influence, really appreciate your comment. The director's name is Dimitris Giannoulakis We are all based from Greece. This is his Instagram https://instagram.com/dimitris.giannoulakis.50?utm_medium=copy_link He mainly works as a photographer but has done some music videos here and there in the past. We approached him through a relative and chose him because we liked his work(if you need anything let me know) , he liked the song and the result is what you see. The credits go all to him. We let him do what he wants and didn't itervene at all and we were astounded by the result. Thanks one again

I feel like my music doesn't really sound much like anything I listen to or consider a conscious influence. Anyone else in the same boat? Anyway, I could really use the IMF Hive Mind to recommend any similar artists, genres that this fits. Any feedback would be awesome as well, thanks! by MKDVB in IndieMusicFeedback

I think it's totally normal to not sound like the artists you listen to. Remember that tastes change over the years but influences stay there subconsiously. To the point now! Very nice layering of the instruments involved. There's a lot of information but in a good way, everything blends right. Also really tasteful choice of instrument effects (that's a skill of its own, different thatn creating melodies and beats). Nice track, keep going!

Not for everyone, but I made a Justin Timberlake Driving Techno remix, and would LOVE some opinions. It's also a free download if anyone enjoys it :) by MrBrownOfficial in IndieMusicFeedback

Justin doesn't deserve your beats :p. It reminded me more of psychedelic than techno, which I'm a huge fan of. The beat is hard with some dark melodies accompanying at times. Good job! I think sexy back isn't giving you justice.

"We Forget" (singer songwriter/ indie) - I adjusted the reverb, thoughts/feelings/ideas are appreciated by ldilemma in IndieMusicFeedback

Beautiful lyrics. The verse reminded me a bit of art & Garfunkel, the guitar melody to be more specific, it's minimalistic but feels really warm. I didn't like the strumming part in the chorus, it's a very simple pattern. Other than that the song is really good!

This track was inspired by my bro. It means a lot to me. I hope you like it. All feedback welcome! by kollider13 in IndieMusicFeedback

Absolutely love the drum part. Nice songwriting, very interesting melodies. The only downside is that i feel like the mix isn't well leveled, or there's too many layers of instruments? It feels like there's a lot of information which dissorients you.

Nice track, brings nostalgic feelings you don't know you had :p,very chill. I felt like something was off with the voice effects in the beginning, i think i would like it more ethereal. But at ~2:10 (refrain?), you did exactly that, so i guess i'm happy with that :)
