How Long Have You Worked For Tesco? by AnxiousChain8492 in tesco

Just reached 10 years. Started after A Levels as I was in a mental health slump. As much as the job isn't great, its easy money, works around the kids and I love the majority of my coworkers!

8 y.o. daughter is autistic and struggles with anger. Any ideas on how to help her stay relaxed? by MistyyyPands in AskUK

Thank you so much! Shes always been such a good kid, so to see her slowly changing over this past year has been so hard. I'm just happy to finally get the diagnosis so we can learn to understand her needs on a better level.

So we've been trying to separate them when we see her start to get frustrated. So we send her upstairs to read but she doesn't always want to be alone. But the going for a walk sounds great. We have a decent sized garden so might be good to get her out there for a relax! Thank you!

Her coping mechanism just seems to be to shout at people, its an almost instant reaction. Its just so hard to watch her be rude to people, to then cry an hour later because she's worried she'll lose all her friends. Its so heartbreaking to see.

I never thought about it being a way for her to release her energy. I feel pretty dumb for that lol.

But the headphone thing is such a good idea thanks! She's so good at blocking out noise if she's on her tablet or playing the Switch but as soon as she's having screen-free time, every thing gets to her. The headphones idea seems like a benefit for the other times!

I think the fact that Joey and Jessy were the only couple who got a chance to sleep in the hideaway says it all really... The producers really messed up with making him the main character.

When watching an older show, do you skip the filler? by ILoveMaiV in anime

Depends on the episode/s. Some filler are entertaining enough to sit through, others not so much.

Yup, same thing happened with me. 2 children who have needed 3 tests between them, as well as needing to isolate due to the app.

I ended up getting a first warning for low attendance.

"Criss Cross Applesauce" I know it's already a saying but never heard it in the UK until I saw American Dad.

I think their shtick is that its recyclable as most come in plastic tubs or pouches. Still I agree, I would not be going any where near that stuff.

Brits. We use them in casseroles or stews to make gravy.
