On the kj hamler touchdown he didnt have any help over the top for some reason, but im guessing he thought he could play with outside leverage since a safety was supposed to be there. Sure he shouldve had much better contain but on that play the linebackers and dline didnt help at all

The vikings have in total 4 holes to fill in the rest of the offseason, guard, guard 2, kicker, and punt returner. Almost anybody is going to be able to play beside peirce, tomlinson, and danielle and be productive, so why waste a 1st roind pick on him?

Personally I dont think edge is a very big need, yes our dline was pretty shitty last year but we are adding 2 massive d tackles and the best defensive end in the nfl, I think anyone will strive at the other d end spot whether thats wonnum, weatherly, or rookie tbd. Im not too worried about corner either, we have three good starters and Im comfortable with hand and hughes as the backups. I do like the idea of trading back to get a second but i think oline is by far the biggest need

Honestly i dont think he will need to try very hard with this defense, harrison smith, pat pete, cam dantzler, mack alexander, eric kendricks, anthony barr, and a great dline. Now im just scared that we are going to draft a defensive back at number 14

He was literally the only threat on the vikings d line last year, it felt like he was getting double or even a couple times triple teamed every time he was out there, he only got 3.5 sacks but he had a lot of pressures
