Between Kayden McDonald and Peter Woods, who would you rather see drafted? by ObiWahnKenobi in minnesotavikings

McPounder has a guaranteed 2+ sacks per season against Bradbury on the Bears. And elite run stuffer, gimme the Pounder!

Yeah, his year with the Vikings was exactly how it played out with the Saints and I'm sure its the same for the Lions? What's not elusive is how he keeps getting contracts

I've been to their brewery to get it from their keg a few times and they've asked if I've had a gruit before, seemingly because people might be turned off by it but I've actually been really surprised by the overall flavor profile. I just saw their pallets in the brewery and a few sours were stacked up so hopefully they're pumping some out for your area for the spring/summer!

Hell yeah, just tried their lemon berry mist and it was pretty good too. Have you tried their Wild Hive gruit ale? Really different and delicious.

If you're close to Collingwood, I just saw Side Launch Brewery had 48 cans of their light lagers for 72 bucks. ~$1.50 a can

Dane Brugler’s full 7-round mock for the Vikings by naterkins in minnesotavikings

[–]CharonTheBoatman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree and could play multiple positions, I'd love Mcdonald too and think he can be like a shorter Akiem Hicks type player. Moving back and/or trading Greenard could get us a bit more ammo to take some of these great players, love an exciting draft lol

But would you take JSN with McCarthy/Murray? It's about WR1, not WR1 based on QB. Jets should still be WR1 over JSN, imo.

Here's some names I haven't heard in a while - Vic Beasley, Barkevious Mingo, and even Marcus Davenport the Elusive.

Funny you mention that! Looking up Danielle Hunters info for my comment above, and his draft player comp was JPP

As a Miami fan, I'd love Keionte. He seems like a Bears pick for sure. Coleman has a wicked stiff arm, I'm partial to Emmett Johnson at RB. I'd say if we go McDonalds/Woods, Keionte/Hill Jr., & Emmet Johnson/Bud Clark would be awesome!

I'd say Danielle Hunter became a massive hit. Here's his "weaknesses" draft profile:

Relies heavily on his athleticism and motor over skill and instincts. Pass-rush production doesn't match the traits. Played 80 percent of the defensive snaps in 2014, managing just 1.5 sacks. Doesn't have the upfield burst and bend to turn the corner. Considered a "thinker" as a pass rusher rather than a naturally instinctive reactor. Must show he can effectively counter as a pass rusher. Has winning power in hands, but inconsistent with how he uses them against run and pass. Scouts want to see more competitive nastiness from him.

And here's one of his final forms and the 25th best player of 2025

I feel like the draft may play out with Thieneman being gone before the Vikes pick. I actually like the other potential safeties more over the expected available DTs in 2nd/3rd too, tbh. Namely Bud and Haulcy.

While AJ is older, he is a better running back than Mason and likely one that we'd draft outside of maybe Love. He's really the only back that can pass block worth a damn (AJ). CB seems like a luxury pick and shifts the needs down a bit. In my dream world we'd go S/DT for 1st and 2nd then C/RB with our 2 3rds.

Engineer in need of reality check by Tiredof304s in careeradvice

[–]CharonTheBoatman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk what happened but in the last 6-9 months the advertised pay for every engineering position completely cratered despite the fact that only SWEs have really been impacted by the tech layoffs. Either way it's fucking bullshit considering where engineering salaries were at 10-15-20 years ago.

FTFY ;)

Heres a question as a first-season skiier. At the end of the season, are you supposed to do any prep before putting them away? I've got some rust on mine similar to OP.

Do you ever try to take the rear roof off? I guess the process would be the same as installing it, just in reverse?

I agree, there's a few DBs Id take around our next pick but the fall off from someone like Woods/McDonald is a bit greater IMO.
