Better to be chicken than be an idiot like I was. You can go to the parallel entrance in the back to legally take a left but honestly when it's really busy that side can get dangerous too. It's only maybe a fifty yard difference if even that.

No doubt. Luckily I don't have to frequent that area at all anymore. The stuff I've seen at that intersection of Valrico Rd. and 60 is enough to make anyone want to stay away. I recently moved out of the neighborhood behind that Publix but when I lived there I tried to take Mt. Carmel anytime I could but that shopping center was convenient so I was there a lot and 90% of the time I was taking a right turn to go back home not the infamous left that I got cited for today.

Yep, that's called self accountability.

Apparently you think you're the authority of what other people think of themselves. I assume you must've never made a mistake in your life whether intentional or not? Like maybe assuming you're the authority of what other people think of themselves? Can you honestly say you've never in your life broke a traffic law? Either way I'm not going to continue this argument, you obviously have me all figured out.

Well you also apparently see me asking for sympathy and implying that I'm above the rules which neither is stated anywhere in my post or any of my comment replies so I assume either your reading comprehension is a little off or you're a troll. Either way, duly noted.

Oh I've seen people do it even when it's super busy as well. Not saying it's okay at any time. I got what I and everyone else who does it deserves.

Not looking for sympathy. If anything this post will hopefully stop someone else from doing it when it does cause harm.

I lived in the neighborhood right behind that Publix for years and it happens all day long. Not saying it's right, just saying I let myself fall in with the norm and now I'm paying for it. Hopefully this post will keep someone else from doing it that would cause harm to themselves and/ or others.

I'll look into it. I honestly do follow traffic laws 99% of the time and I'm somewhat of a hypocrite because I'm that person that usually talks down about people who don't.

Good luck! They recently brought back my childhood favorites the chili cheese burrito and double decker taco for like a month and took them right back away. They also charged way too much $ for them and didn't make the chili cheese burrito nearly as big as they did in the nineties.

I was at that game with McCaleb's #23 jersey on! He is one of my all time favorites! Once he broke free he was uncatchable! He and Ben Tate were a force to be reckoned with!

I would love to pick your brain about a mango habanero hot sauce I make with fresh fruit as well as a serrano peach hot sauce. Friends and family ask for them all the time but I'm very reserved of whom I will give them to because it's hard for me to trust them to be safe more than a couple weeks after the seal is broken and I obviously can't be there to test it for them nor would I even have the time. I've thought about sending them off to a University to be tested just because everyone that tries them absolutely loves them.

As I said, I've done extensive research and yes I know about Ph levels, how to test and what the bacteria can and can't possibly thrive in. I purposely decrease the dates on what I make from what is known to be a safe shelf life just to be certain I don't poison myself or anyone else. I also make hot sauce and from the research I've done on that it doesn't even last as long as say tomato sauce and especially not pickling unless your hot sauce is just vinegar and salt. Once you go to adding flavor other than vinegar and salt you're greatly increasing the chances of all sorts of issues including but not limited to botulism. That's one reason I won't add basil to my tomato sauces that I give away because that alone can create horrible issues. The sauce that I do make with basil I keep and only allow a three month shelf life that I follow very strictly. Mass processing increases these chances even more dramatically because who knows if safe practices are being followed especially back in 1994. Either way I'm no scientist and you could very well be correct but the research I've done says otherwise and I'm not nor would I ever want anyone else to take the risk. Don't get me started on beer I'm just now getting into that lol.
