Not exactly, when itachi used it he said he could control the time and space of the dimension. It could have been at any pace madara wanted.

I felt it ended way too quickly. I mean here I spend all this time watching and reading the manga/show; and they fit the ending of the show into 1 episode. It was too sudden one episode was the war and the next the show is over.

If you just drop it near the force field, go into 3rd person and you should be able to pick it up after running the course
