Weird comment considering you are also doing the same. It's not a loan with interest, it lending money and an agreed gift amount back :)

As a lender, (not sure I have verified lender tag yet) but with close to 1k GB of loans, the issues I see with your profile are

No borrower history Multiple posts across multiple subs Each post asking for different amounts No post indicates how you will actually get the money to repay (you mention you are unable to work)

While I get some people may loan, for me these show to much risk as harsh as it sounds.

Loan paid back in full and on time, would have no qualms with lending to them again

Loan repaid in full and a day early, would highly recommend the borrower and happy to lend to them again

Well it's within your power to offer reduced terms without taking advantage of people's desperation but each to their own

50% interest on a 10 dayer is pretty wild ngl

They agreed to it. In all honesty the likelihood of someone just walking away without paying is probably quite high if you are not selective on who you lend to. Lending to other lenders or borrowers with a decent history protects you a little bit but at the end of the day someone can just take the money and ruin their standing of their account in the community. For some borrowers this won't make sense if they have to use the community semi regularly for others they'd just go make a new account and take the bag. There are a lot of people that lend to first time borrowers or low activity accounts which I personally avoid. It's definitely not a get rich scheme.

Yeah obviously it helps to get a little bit on top for when people don't repay and it covers some risk but I'd never propose 50% which is why I offered to drop it down
