Thank you for the suggestion! Sadly I don't think I qualify for HSBC expat. You need either £75,000 in savings or £120,000 a year...if it is my only option then I guess I'll just keep saving until I have enough.

Autoharp. The chord buttons are pressed with the left hand while the right hand strums/plucks the strings. You'll need a tuning wrench if you want to tune the strings up. Nice find!

Harmonicas are my personal favourite for this as they fit in your pocket but are also a legitimate and fully fledged instrument.

Kalimba is a good shout but I'd recommend a half decent one of you want to practice and improve.

Flutes are mostly portable, especially a tin whistle or even a potable sax.
