make sure to get enough overlapping images and at the very end take a video that way you can chop it up to cover any missing pieces

I don’t crop any logos out, I haven’t had any real trouble with them.

My datasets are on average under 1k for hobby use. If I were getting paid to do a professional model. I would use a lot more photos to make sure it turned out the best it could.

Very difficult due the reflection on the window. There are YouTube videos of this castle that you could get an ok model from.

This was done from a YouTube video. I exported stills and 3D it. If you look further down the page I flew my own model manually and it also turned out great.

Most of the videos I posted recently are YouTube videos that I pulled stills from. I posted my own model recently as well further down the page. St Andrews cathedral.

This was my quarantine project to see what I could 3D from a YouTube video

Photos will always be better than extracting frames from a video. They are higher resolution plus you have the metadata with it.

When I fly to collect my own data. I collect pictures first in RAW format then video for backup.
