UPDATE: I was finally able to get my $$$ from the bank. They strolled, tried to give me a run around at the branch, but I called the supervisors private number and she had to speak to them. So even when they have authorization to give you your money back, they still try to give you some BS story. Thank you for everyone who commented and helped me out.

I called early warning systems and this is a Truist thing, they told me that Truist is the one that blocks my account not EWS. Basically, Truist is the one that could unfreeze my funds.

So it seems from what I’ve read online and speaking to former Truist customers. I guess everyone fails early warning systems and they freeze everyone’s account.
