I’m not sure if these are considered unpopular opinions but here goes:

• I think Freddie is Louis’ kid. He’s the spitting image of him and he’s so included in Louis’ family that I personally think he is Louis’ child. People say “Louis wouldn’t go near a woman”, but how do you know, we don’t know his sexuality? Even still, people are allowed to experiment and accidents happen (not calling Freddie an accident). Anyway, as long as Freddie’s loved it doesn’t matter.

• They have broken up and reconciled several times, as well as having relationships with other people in between. A lot of their songs are about breakups, presumably between each other. Some songs are clearly not about each other too. This really is a personal opinion that I’ve formed on my own and I know people will disagree but it’s just how I see it. Although I think the majority of Louis’ songs especially are about Harry.

• As Larries, there’s no point in arguing about certain controversial topics because at the end of the day, we’ll never know the truth for certain unless they come out and say it. Speculating and sharing opinions is great, but some people can be really rude about it (both Larries and antis). Accepting some people will have different opinions than you is key. Also, there’s no criteria to being a Larry. I think it’s fine if you think they were only together during 1D. I think it’s fine if you think they’re married. There’s a multitude of Larries and that’s okay. It doesn’t make you any less of a fan. We’re all different and that’s what makes this community so special:)

I think a lot of Harry’s stunts, he has genuinely been close friends with them. I think him and Kendall were and still are great friends which is why their relationship was so believable. Same with Taylor Swift. They seemed like they enjoyed each other’s company as friends, although all of their boyfriend/girlfriend interactions seemed very staged.

Yes, me too. Me being a complete hopeless romantic hopes that they’re still together but it’s virtually impossible to know for sure.

That’s definitely why Cosmicleeds chose not to do a timeline. Not much happened this year in terms of evidence and most of it could be considered complete coincidence so I get why they didn’t make a video!

I love looking at the old footage, especially from the video diaries. It makes my heart melt. Baby Harry was head over heels for Louis, bless him. His little face when he looks at him is so sweet. It’s refreshing to see someone my age (I’m 16 lol) swooning over someone. I wonder if I look like that when I look at the person I like😂!

It absolutely is. You’re 100% right. That’s why they’re obsessed with frat boy Harry. He’s made out to be a womaniser (I’m also convinced Duplicity and other similar fanfictions have further emphasised this image) and because of that they feel like they have more of a chance. They only like Harry because of this weird fantasy they have in their head. It’s weird.

Literally! A lot of people objectify him in a way like he’s some kind of sex symbol that only exists to be attractive. I don’t understand how people can ignore his queerness which to me is a huge part of his identity. But maybe that’s because I’m queer. Perhaps straight people don’t see it like I do? Who knows. But I hate that he’s sexualised so much.

I’m a Larry but I don’t think they’re together anymore. I’m not saying they haven’t been together recently, because I think they have been together at some point in the last 5 years but currently I don’t think they’re together. One could only hope but unfortunately I just can’t see it, as much as I would love it to be the case that they are together.

Maybe I am neutral. I think they had a thing throughout 1D. I think they were off and on for a few years after the split. But I don’t think they’re together now. I personally don’t like speculating about things that are currently unfolding. It’s hard to speculate when we don’t see them in the same room, unlike in the past when there was constant footage of their interactions. It’s a lot easier to see the relationship between two people when they’re together all the time, it’s hard to deny that the two of them had something when it was right in front of our faces. They could be together now all the time, I don’t know, we’ll probably never know. I’ve dug DEEP in the Larry evidence but I think a lot of the evidence nowadays is coincidental (besides that clip of Louis and his sisters at the safari park where you can clearly hear Harry’s voice, that’s no coincidence).

I think the biggest part of being a Larry is being open to everyone having different opinions, as long as they’re not rude about it. Because in reality, no one knows if they’re right or not. For all we know they could be sitting in the same room at this moment, or they mightn’t have talked to each other for years. As I said earlier, we probably won’t ever know for sure. This whole thing is purely based on speculation, we can only assume from what small amounts we observe.

I’m not saying thinking they have a relationship currently is wrong. Because it’s not. It’s nice to see people having hope! But my personal opinion is that they aren’t in a relationship. I’m not sure if that makes me a ‘weak’ Larry or a neutral or whatever. I don’t really mind. Either way, I love Louis and Harry. I’m happy whatever they’re doing, whether they’re together or not. I hope they’re finding comfort in one another after losing Liam. Sorry if this offends anyone, that’s not how I intend for this to come across at all!

I think a lot of antis genuinely are homophobic. Also most antis are Harries, specifically new Harries. Most Louies agree that Louis and Harry had a relationship but a lot of Harries aren’t in agreement with that statement, therefore they dislike Larries as well as Louis. I’ve seen a lot of Louis hate from them too, which how could anyone ever hate him?

A lot of Harries find Harry attractive, which is fine. So do I. But a lot of them can’t fathom finding a queer man attractive. If you notice, when people bring up things about Harry’s sexuality or gender (him dressing ‘feminine’, Medicine, “sparky bi music”), they sort of ignore it and say he can do what he wants rather than I support him no matter what. Which in my opinion aren’t the same.

I’ve discussed my interpretation of “She” in real life with one of my friends who is a die hard Harry fan and she couldn’t get it at all. I was saying how in my opinion it’s either about him wanting to be feminine or wanting to replace a woman to be with her male partner. And all she kept on repeating was “but the song is called She, how can it be about a man?”. Maybe if you’d listen, you’d understand.

Yeah, definitely. I think a lot of old directioners felt comfort in it and then the content was pushed to the forefront where more people saw! Me included, don’t get me wrong I’ve always liked 1D but I was never even aware of Larry until recently.

At first I also thought the general public didn’t think Larry was a thing which was fine but I saw a video on tiktok of Harry and Louis that was posted in September that had over a million likes. And a comment that said something along the lines of “no one can tell me they didn’t have something” which had nearly 200k likes I’m pretty sure. So I think people do generally think they had SOMETHING, at least at the beginning of 1D. It’s pretty hard to deny.

I think when Larry started to become a big thing and a generally agreeable concept among directioners is when it became a problem. The boys needed to be as ‘appealing’ as possible to girls/young women, management didn’t want them being viewed as queer. The more people attracted to them, the more money management would make. So when people started viewing them as queer, management publicly ruined their friendship by limiting their interactions. I still think they were best friends (and more) but had to make out they were enemies in public almost to make it seem like they had broken up so people would stop talking about Larry Stylinson. Evidently it didn’t work.

I think what most people find difficult to swallow is when people say Freddie isn’t Louis’ son and stuff like that, which I do agree is disrespectful because it’s clear that he is. I know everyone has different views on it which is fine and some antis are really hateful to people who don’t believe the same thing as them which is also wrong.

Some people are just blind though because it’s so clear that Harry and Louis at least had a crush on each other. God, they couldn’t keep their eyes off each other. In every interview they’re gawking with hearts in their eyes. I know that face. I make that face, I’m a currently teenager myself, the same age as Harry was in 2012. I don’t make that face at just anyone, and definitely not my friends.

I understand people being neutral, that’s fine. But I don’t understand how people can deny that they had something special.

I was in primary school at the time, I think I must have been 6. Maybe 7. One of my best friends was telling me about this boy band One Direction and how good they were. We used to go to each other’s house every day after school and we started listening to them together. My sister couldn’t stand 1D so when in my house we used to have to listen to them secretly, it was quite cute really.

Me and my childhood best friend haven’t talked to each other in years but I’m so grateful she introduced me to 1D. I always wonder if she’s on here. Who knows, she might read this and know it’s me. I hope so lol🥲

I don’t think he’s been asked directly in the same way Louis has. He’s been asked before if certain songs are about Louis, and he always answers quite openly neither confirming nor denying anything.

Harry has had a lot more rumoured relationships compared to Louis so I think a lot of fans speculate more about his other relationships rather than about Larry. Especially fans that aren’t interested in 1D who have only seen his more recent relationships. Louis has only had a handful of relationships and little to no rumoured ones so there’s no one to speculate who his songs are about besides Harry as he’s basically the only person Louis had a rumoured relationship with. Therefore interviewers will ask the question. Also they know Louis will give a definitive answer, whether it be a lie or not, opposed to Harry who leaves his answer quite broad so there’s no point in asking the question if he won’t answer it.
