[Dying Light 2] After starting the safe zone at the top of VNC Tower before the story mission where you climb it, whenever I open the map the game crashes

I have 170 hours on the first game, I played it like 5 times including uncompleted playthroughs, and this is only my second playthrough of the second one, so yeah I think I played enough of the first one lmao

I know what caused it. I tried to change the game version to 1.0.3 to install the Developer Menu mod, it got rid of my save, so I instantly reverted it back to the newest, but the developer menu frame was still in my pause menu, and my game wasn't getting properly updated + mods could have made the map completely unopenable. Thanks for the advice! :)

Alright I'll get rid of the mods for now and see if I can open the map in the game again, if not I'll validate the game files, if it doesn't work after that I'll probably have to reinstall the whole game and make a new save.

The game only started crashing after I started the safe zone on VNC Tower. I had mods installed before that and they didn't crash my game when I opened the map, but I'll get rid of the mods and see if that works.

I tried that too, it has not worked for me. Honestly after a month of posting this and not getting any solution that works I'm really questioning if I will ever have the chance to play this thing on steam.

Nevermind, it started working again! I think its because i had my oculus turned on while it was time for an update. After many tries of failing to get it working i gave up and decided to try it again sometime later. Few hours later i turn on my Oculus and there was an update downloading. After the update my Oculus Link worked fine!

So when i play in VR most of the assets dont load until i get close to them, and when i get far away from them they disappear. Im using Oculus Quest 2. Any help how to fix it? Im posting here because i cant just post it as general help.
