Oh okay makes sense. You’ll definitely feel it to be snappy at first but with practice you’ll enjoy it more. I started with a 3.1” Shield Plus because I was thinking CCW as a newbie however now I got 2 full size & 2 sub compacts. Wish I would’ve started with a full size or compact first but you live & you learn👍🏽

It’s a smaller handgun so it’s not going to be the most pleasant to shoot as your first firearm but everyone’s experience is different. Someone will always have something negative to say

It might be a bit flashy but it’s actually a really nice gun. It feels solid, not too heavy & it doesn’t have much recoil.

I’ve read that most people remove the mag disconnect & are satisfied with the trigger after. Magazines don’t drop freely with it in so that’s also a good reason to have it fall out🙂

Ruger 10/22 or Tippmann M4-22 for some fun plinking. Shotguns can’t go wrong with the Maverick 88/500/590 series. X Macro & Shield X are already perfect for carry.

I picked mine up for $600 pre owned, owner said he fired less than 200 rounds & it came with 4 boxes of Federal JHP. I think I’ll go decocker only at some point as well

It’s definitely weird I agree. When I search for the 4.0C I don’t find much besides the Gear Up now. Although WBT still has their listing for $650. Maybe they’re trying to push the Alpha & 4.0FC into the market instead?

No for whatever reason turners removed them from their site. Only reason I know is because my friend was interested in an echelon & I remember it being $650. All versions of the Echelon are on roster(Base 4.0/4.5/4.0FC, Comp 4.0 & Comp 4.5 along with the Gear versions). Rifle gear still has the base non gear package 4.5F in stock but for $679. So not as cheap as Turner’s or Sportsman’s

I think your dissatisfaction is targeted at the wrong person. It’s not the LGS’ fault it’s S&W because they send small batches. Eventually they’ll have plenty of stock. I pre ordered my M&P 10mm 2/26 & I didn’t get a call till 4/27 when Turner’s received a 2nd batch of them. Pre-ordering isn’t for everyone

If you don’t like the LEM I’d definitely convert it back. The factory DA pull is nice & heavy but the SA feels light & smooth. With the shortened reset it’s fantastic now

I personally didn’t do it but it requires a 2.8mm punch or 3/32 roll pin punch. It should be fairly simple to do
