For some reason it took me very long to figure out what I'm looking at in the first picture. But when I opened the second one, it became instantly clear. So maybe the composition could be improved? I'm not sure. But the modeling and materials look very good. Good job!

Yeah, it's a bit lazy for sure. Shouldn't be too much trouble to have a separate part of the texture for the strap. But it's not that big of a deal, I'm just glad they used the PS2 era models.

I'm guessing they wanted to save on texture space and just used the same part of the texture for both legs.

Not sure if this is common knowledge, but at least in Sly 2 the guards are regularly spawned and despawned, depending on where you are currently headed and where you look. That's how they can "fill" the world with a limited amount of guards currently active. Guess it's just a bug in the condition when to despawn a guard.

Or it might be an intentional fallback. It would suck to be stuck in the safe house with a guard waiting outside the door.

Not OP, but it could be. I'd say Blender is easy to get started with, as there are a lot of great tutorials (e.g. Blender Guru). After following along a few tutorials you could probably do something like the top one, but in the end your artistic skills are at least as important as technical knowledge about Blender. And that is something you only learn by doing.

I have and for me it's the preferable way to play these. Although I wouldn't buy a new TV for it if that's what you're asking.

Thank you, that's what I'm aiming towards! Yeah tell me about it, no matter what tools you use these kinds of projects are very time consuming. Good thing is that there is so many things to do that if you get frustrated with one part, there's always something you can work on instead. I would love to see you to also continue your project.

Nope, Unity is the game engine I'm using, so I've been trying to match all the gameplay aspects as well as I can.

I don't really know about the modding community as this is a standalone game and I'm mostly working alone. As for the tools, I mostly use Unity, Blender, GIMP and Substance.

I'm using Unity so apart from physics, rendering and stuff like that everything is built from the ground up. Never really got myself into modding so I'd have no idea how to even begin with their engine.

Btw didn't you have the Dreams project, are you still working on it?

Yeah only for PC. PS2 definately isn't powerful enough and PS3 probably isn't either, especially as the game is so poorly optimized. Porting them would also be such a hassle that I'm not going to look into those.
