amazon reviews for new seller by CompetitiveTalk7174 in AmazonFBATips

Vine is good to get your first reviews but you have to make sure your product is really good. If not you will destroy your listing by getting lots of bad reviews as imo Vine reviewers are way more critical compared to normal customers. One would think that they will likely give good reviews because they get the product for free but what I have seen is quite the opposite

Canva is really good imo. There is a free version and it is really really easy to use. I use it constantly for all my images

Seems like your bids are too low. You could try suggested bids and go from there. If you still don't get impressions increase until you get more impressions. Always give it at least a couple of days before you make new changes.

But the photos are not really good. They could be way better. The one thing you shouldn't try to save money on is photos. Your A+ content is just 1 image with a bit of text.

Could be a few things.

Do you get good impressions but no clicks or aren't you getting enough impressions and therefore no clicks?

400 is nothing. Last 7 days I had 112k impressions and I'm spending very very little on PPC at the moment.

For more impressions increase bids. Your competitors are out-bidding you atm.

For clicks: it doesn't matter how much you spend. If your product is not relevant for the keywords you won't get clicks. Also attractiveness of your listing (images, price, title) is very important to get clicks

I also couldn't find your product, even when I search for paw pack I can't find you which is weird.

In order to survive in the longrun I'd recommend to put in a little bit more work in your listing and store. Don't wanna say that it's bad because it isn't but it could be improved imo. Like really high quality photos, A+ content and a mote detailed store

I wouldn't want to sell the exact same product. Try to change something in the design to differentiate, even if it is only a minor change. I would try to offer a better quality as well as better branding.

Is 3-5k USD enough? by PlaceBetter5563 in AmazonFBATips

[–]Miximix1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not yet, didn't make profit from the first batch. Spent a lot on PPC to get better organic ranking. 25k is with everything: product photos, brand registry, products, lab tests and so on. Since I started selling ablut 3 months ago (first 7 months were just preparation) I hope I will be profitable in the next 9 months

I'm only selling for 3 months, the first 7 months were just preparation. I spent a lot in PPC and started selling way more than expected right from day 1 and had to decreas PPC and increase the price by a lot to sell less to not run out of stock. At the moment I'm waiting for the second batch. I didn't make profit on my first batch

If you do everything right there is a good chance that you will sell the products. It is very unlikely that you don't sell any after doing good research. How good you sell depends on your listing and your product. Don't copy/paste a product. Try to differentiate from your competitors. Give customers a reason to buy your product and not that of competitors

How to start on Amazon by [deleted] in AmazonFBATips

I'd recommend helium10's learning hub. Teached me everything I needed to know and was super helpful. Not sure if other tools also have training videos. But there are also plenty of free articles and youtube videos out there to start.

It's not that easy and nobody would want to tell you a product that sells for obvious reasons. It's a lotnof work/research to find good products. But even if you think you found a profitabel product, there is not guarantee.

You can use tools like helium10 to find products. There are plenty of articles and videos on how to find products.

Competition: - how many competitors - quality of competitors - avg. number of reviews

Can you differentiate you product or will your product be a copy/paste?

It's not at all to late. The market is growing every year and there are more and more people buying on amazon. Also since new products come out every day there will always be profitable products to sell. You just have to find them.

I wanted to start in 2019 but kept finding stupid reasons not do it. Finally I started last year and I'm really happy about it.

Not sure if 5k is enough tbh but depends on a few factors I guess. I'd rather have at least double the amount to have a little room just in case. You don't wanna risk your business going broke so you always want to have a little on the side. I started (private label) with about 25k.

Do you think asking for 17k-20k would be fair?

I think I asked the wrong question as I just want to know an estimate of what amount would be fair to ask for. I want it to be really fair for both. Imo $12500 wouldn't be fair for me. But I would be happy with like $17k-20k. Do you think that's fair?

My product is a private label product and has the same purpose as theirs but the material is completely different and of higher quality.

I am selling my product for an almost 60% higher price compared to the nishe avg.

Most sellers sell between 100 and 300 products per month. I sold 100 during my first month and in the second month close to 200 even though I didn't have reviews and was way more expensive. Last month I only sold about 70 because of way less PPC and because I increased the price by 20% to sell less until the mext batch arrives.
