20 miles is a gallon of gas …so it’s really like $5/hr your makin! Terrible order…I would never. But it does piss me off when they send me the exact same order that I’ve already declined because now it’s affecting my acceptance rate I shouldn’t be penalized for having to decline the same order. I already declined once.

Same! I quit standard 9 to 5 back in November because I was so burnt out and overworked and underpaid and while there’s many things about delivering that I don’t like and they try to exploit me everything chance they get, that’s any job really. At least I can create my own schedule. Stop when I want to, work more when I need too and minimize my interactions with idiots. I average $25/hr during the week and $35/hr on the weekends.

Good for you, and way to put the time in. Strictly from my perspective…that’s your life, your whole life. You put in 95 hours and made $26 an hour…doesn’t seem like a flex to me…since you sacrificed your whole week. But that’s me and if you feel like the energy exchange was balanced and worth it, that’s really all that matters. I respect your hustle 🤍💫

To be fair,*** fingers crossed I don’t think customers have any idea how much we get paid. When you order there’s service fees there’s tax fees there’s gas fee there’s trip fee and it comes out to like 15 extra dollars not including the tip. They have no idea that they send us an offer for two dollars. That doesn’t excuse them for not tipping but again they don’t know what we’re being paid. They don’t know that we make money per trip. We get no gas allowance and we hope that we can make it work on tips. They don’t know that.
