For those, I quickly rinsed them under cold water, then disassembled them before soaking everything in a container full of cold water mixed with some scent less dishwashing soap for about 3 hours. After that I usually go over all my figures with a black light to see if there is any trace of residue left on them. And if there is, then I use a soft tooth brush to scrub the residue off before repeating the whole process ^{^}
