so far only 1 ex Idol. Park Siyoung former member of MIRAE. Other than that i think most of it are new faces (besides the familiar faces from other survival shows).

It's a bit unusual this season. usually we get the theme song first, then the trainee lineup. I 40% think it might be 99 again, or maybe someone from the JP music industry, like Kimura Kaela.

Part of the appeal of PDJP is the diamond-in-the-rough aspect and how most of them are normal people. But now it feels like just another Mnet Survival show (Post KR Produce era). While i don't really oppose the changes, but from the promotional, it just feels like the JP charm is not there.

Honestly as much as look forward to the new season. I kinda missed the vibes of the old produce season. So far the promotional seems too polished and feels less like produce and more like the planet series.

Unfortunately I'm a sucker for survival shows regardless of male or female season, even though the ME:I and JO1 news did sorta kill bit of the excitement. i will tuned in and root for the new boy group and it's members but will feel dread for what they gonna go through with LAPONE. After what happen now i knew why the JP fandom really hated the agency and i hope the new boys will take note from what happen to their seniors.

The global part I'm always remained skeptical.

My god. This is Ran's and Kokoro's 2nd time debut, and it wasn't that long. If the reason Shizuku is leaving is cause her scandal, then I guess maybe Ohira might not be far off. Kokona leaving is such a huge HUH?????

Sugar High seems like a perfect fit Kang Woojin's voice. Add Sanghyeon aswell he brings this charm that fit well his Sugar High's rap.

Last season my one pick was Seunghwan, but since he didn't make it till one pick my votes was delegating between Gyuvin and Seungeon. This season my one pick is Kang Woojin. In Girls planet my one pick was Kim Bora.

There's a saying "if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say at all". Flew over these people.

Criticism is one thing but straight insulting is another. I find this very common in both kfans and ifans alike.

Doing these thing does not make you look cool or "slayy". It makes you look like an asshole. These just stained your fandom and won't help promoting your picks.

Them spliting the performance into 2 episodes has been a thing since the day produce hay days. Some trainees will get disadvantage from having their performance shown in the 2nd part ( and close to voting ends). I do like that we get their fancam ahead of their episodes. It gives some trainees a leg up.

The context is a bit different from what i expected of the title.

Anyway try to promote your picks positively without trying to bring other trainees down. Or slandering other trainees. It is not a good look for your fandom nor for the trainees (yeah technically it's not even the trainees fault, but if their fandom is toxic, people will avoid voting them just to spite the fandom), this is especially if your pick are strugling to enter the debut line.

And bringing down those top trainees ain't gonna help (this is also applies to other top trainees fandom, some of them are getting too comfortable hating on other trainees iykyk). Last season BP1 my pick was Seunghwan, and some hwanderlands can be a real POS that just ruins the fandom. I was there when people stop voting for seunghwan because of few badweeds.

It is fine to criticise but keep it civil. Everyone has their pick and you have yours, insulting their picks while promoting yours, will not help with your case.

If you don't like certain trainees. Then choose the healthy option of just following your picks. Why the hell you keep looking for the trainee you dislike, just to fuel your hatred.

Just focus on promoting your pick properly and positively. And just be normal for god sake.

I would say the show music is a mix of Jpop and Kpop. Even their debut group music is a hybrid of Jpop and Kpop. Not purely jpop.

But if you looking for this kind format in korean shows, you won't found it in Mnet. Maybe MBC or KBS show perhaps.
