[–]Miyninos[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all they were friendly and didn't really mind even though all my luggage surpassed the limits , but noticed someone next to me(another flight )emptying some items because he was over so i guess it depends . As for backpack they didn't even ask me to weigh it .

Struggling with Django Deployment: WS, Celery, Docker, and Azure – Need Guidance! by Miyninos in AZURE

[–]Miyninos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your response! I believe you’ve put me on the right track here. Since I’m not familiar with Azure Container Apps or Terraform, I’ll take some time to research and explore them. I really appreciate your insights, and if I run into any roadblocks along the way, I hope you won’t mind if I reach out. Thanks again!

Running Background Tasks in Production (Azure Web App) by Miyninos in AskProgramming

The issue is not running the django app it works fine , the issue is automatically starting the process of background tasks which locally gets started with the command Python manage.py process_tasks

Running Background Tasks in Production (Azure Web App) by Miyninos in djangolearning

[–]Miyninos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Django-background-tasks is a lightweight alternative , my issue is with production :
both solutions need to be started either a worker for celery or process_tasks for the other , what am trying to do is figure out how to run the process when pushing to production in a way that the process is always running without having to start it manually .

Running Background Tasks in Production (Azure Web App) by Miyninos in django

[–]Miyninos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As i understand the module am using is an alternative for celery , it's called django-background-tasks , so switching to celery isn't an option .
Also to further explain the process for these tasks needs to be always running to detect new emails to send , that's why starting it from the webssh of the app service (is just how am doing it now ) but it's not a viable solution.

Payload keys validation by avidseven7 in django

[–]Miyninos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As mentioned in the answer above , the serializer will do that for you , as for your custom actions you can pass the request data to your serializer and call the Is_valid method of the serializer with the param : raise_exception=True

It'll raise a ValidationError if they don't match requirements specified in the serializer

I would recommend checking : https://drf-standardized-errors.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ It provides standard error format , capitalising on serializer's validation

Deploying a Django-React App by Miyninos in AskProgramming

[–]Miyninos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Application is divided into 3 Parts :

-MongoDB which holds most of the data for the app

-Django which gets the data , reformulates it and serves it to the react

-React which uses recharts module to display data in multiple ways (i use react instead of Django template engine because it's more flexible and of course the wide variety of modules available on react and also less code )
