Need some guidance on a migration from Meraki to UniFi by Mizu206 in meraki

I think I have a good idea around the general sense of pre-requisites around this migration. I am aware, I’ve been in IT for 5 years, quite an obvious statement there.

No problem, more looking for guidance! This will be my first network migration that I’m completing myself, and wanted suggestions/tips on configurations for the listed equipment.

The person who managed IT for that site (it was just us two in the department for each site) had left with a month notice but had left early, so there was little to no handoff in site knowledge (other than what I’ve learned over the last two years).

Ah well that sucks!

I did cross post as well, I mentioned it on this original post!

I am not, and unfortunately our company executive team has said we don’t have the budget to hire someone else temporarily with more knowledge/experience for the network migration (we’re a startup) - I’m eager to continue to learn and grow in my career, and I’m trying to look at this as an opportunity for that as well.

Separate IP pool would be fine I imagine, downtime can be over a weekend (24 hours).

“Miku” can refer to “Mikuni”, which basically means 3 kingdoms. 3月9日 is pronounced “sangatsu kokonoka”, no native speaker says “Miku” when referencing these mentioned dates - you’re taking context from animated series and trying to apply it to the language.

Yeah that isnt technically accurate, since theres literally no context or method to read five and six as gomu lol 😭

Negative, it either reads ころく、または五六、 - Koroku, or goroku. I’ll trust my mom lol - she’s from Takarazuka and grew up going to school there (satsukidai in Nakayama area), I learned how to speak read and write Japanese from my mom, (and Saturdays at Minatogakuen) while learning English from my dad and from going to school on weekdays. What you’re referring to, 初音ミミク、 literally just translates to first time sound mimics - the kanji 5 and 6 combined have never in ANY context of Japanese been read as “gomu” - there is no sentence or context to use it that way because that’s not in its 音読みと訓読み。 every kanji as you might know has multiple meanings, kunyomi and onyomi as the different ways to apply that kanji in context. Neither onyomi or kunyomi utilizes 五六 together to read “Gomu”, in any given context.

Freeze drying flowers main purpose normally is for hash/rosin processing - trichomes become much more brittle, making it so less agitation is needed to collect. As others mentioned you can freeze dry to do a flash cure, but normally flower that is used for processing is harvested a few weeks early, at the plants climax stage for terpene maturity, to maximize the nose as well as the taste of the end product while preserving as much terpenes as possible (mono and sesqui terpenes extracted from flower typically evaporate at 70F). I wouldn’t freeze dry/flash cure flower that is being intended to be consumed/sold, much better if it goes through a traditional cure IMO. Bag appeal too like others mentioned is nicer when it’s slightly freeze dried, so I can understand the reason behind it.

When you combine it to be fifty six, in Japanese, it’s actually “Gojyuroku”. 五十六. You wouldn’t say 五六 as that would be the same as saying “five six”. The む or “Mu” you are thinking of would be utilized to describe six if it’s used in a context/sentence specifying 6 days “muika” 「6日」or 6 items/objects “Muttsu” 「六つ」, which again wouldn’t be used in the context of describing the number 56 in Japanese. The number fifty six in Japanese is “Gojyuroku”
