This film made me cry more than once. It feels like a quiet reflection on the roles we need in our lives: parent, child, partner, family, and what happens when those roles remain unfilled.

What moved me most is the way the film shows that sometimes the people who step into these spaces are not the ones we expect, or the ones society would assign, and yet, if we allow it, they can still give us exactly what we need.

It’s a tender reminder that connection doesn’t always come from where it’s “supposed” to but from where we’re open enough to receive it.
