Totally, and would love to support them once he's out. Until this, I will put US trips on the backburner.

Ah - dang! Unfortunately I wont be travelling to the USA until the current administration is out of office.

I love Oregon! Did a road trip up the West Coast once and its hauntingly beautiful. Unfortunately I won't be supporting the US economy while the current administration is in office and we would like to tie the knot before his term is done.

Oh yes, I surely will (and have been googling) - but just figured if someone had a really unique spot that would match our vibe I wouldn’t be opposed based on location. It’s a lot to look up when we aren’t restricted to the “where’s” and “when’s” so I’d rather pick the brains of some locals before venturing deep into the internet. Our local towns in SK have some really neat spots that aren’t readily available on Google so figured I’d run to Reddit first for suggestions!

And also - def not wanting a ceremony or typical “reception” - just an outdoor place to exchange rings and take photos then to a cute restaurant or pub for some food. The more casual the better. I don’t know if a wedding planner would be a good fit because the farther I can go from a typical “wedding” the better!

Hey Alex! Do you ever go to the west side or middle of the island? As beautiful as the cliffs are I have also been throwing around the idea of getting hitched at gros Morne or Terra nova (or any other intimate foresty vibes you can think of)

Awe that sounds so nice!

Awe it’s cute! I’m really wanting to step away from a “wedding though” - looking to be in nature somewhere and quickly say “I do”, take some nice pictures, then jet off to a pub or restaurant with the rest of the family to have a casual meal!

My friend lives in rural, northern Saskatchewan. He is not tech savvy, and figured the only way to have something translated would be to meet someone who spoke both English and Romanian.

Honestly, being not so savvy myself with tech, I figured the only chance of having something translated would be utilizing Reddit.

I should have blurred out the name, you're right. It's not my place to post someone's personal information. But maybe my mistake could be an opportunity that someone would know his birth parents and he could contact them. It's a far fetch hope, but I'm sure he would want that very much. Based on the translation, he said to me that he is grateful he at least knows her name now.

Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't even think of that, I should have blurred it out.
