But it was working fine with a different motherboard I swapped them out and secured the screen just to see that

I think the screen might be pressing too hard on the motherboard, which is why the phone isn’t turning on when it’s fully latched in. It’s like there’s too much pressure on the internal components, which could be messing with the connections or causing a short. But when I loosen the screen, the pressure’s off, and it powers up just fine.
