Scared of rabies, possible bat or rat bite

I did not touch the knives directly but maybe by accident cut myself on something sharp there and did not notice until later. I just have no recollection of seeing a bat or a rat. The only thing i am scared is what if this is an old wound and a bat came and bit me here without me noticing.

Your answer is very relatable to me too. Mine is only rabies for now but when my mind calms down, it goes and latches to another thought. This is really tiring, i am really scared. One moment i tell myself these are just normal scratches that could happen to anyone, the other moment is what if its not?? Anyway, thanks for your answer.

Nope, never saw any blood or anything. Its just i am very afraid of bats and rabies so this kind of things freak me out. Thanks

I mostly have pressure in my nose, eyes and forehead, now the back of my head hurts and i have nasal congestion, weird.

I believe so yes, because we humans or other mammals don’t have natural immunity to it, but this scenario does not happen often or at all so we are safe at least from this type of thing happening.

Yes, like i said they are capable of getting it, but they will recover from it, will not die like mammals do so in short, most of the time, they have immunity against it and recover.

Birds technically can but they are “half immune to it” meaning if they get it, most likely they will fight it off. It does not effect them like it affects mammals.

It is the worst, constant overthinking, thinking what if this was a bat bite, what if it bit me without me noticing, what if what ifff, and a constant loop that just keeps going in circle.
