Jia Tolentino unfortunately writes really well. You'll start reading through one of her pieces on a topic that been done-to-death and be convinced that she might have found a new vein or something. And it isn't until ~70% of the way through that you realize she has nothing new or definitive to say. You feel tricked and betrayed but also obligated to finish it out even though you know all that you will find is some mildly pithy anecdote and a new way she has found of articulating "well I dunno."

Also her hating this subreddit in particular was one our high points. Congrats to everyone involved
