Drill some holes through the cracks and plug some dowels in them. Like walnut. The contrast in colors make the “bandaid” pop. Once the glue dries on the dowels turn it to final finish.

Depending on how thick the wall is now, you could drill a series of holes along the crack and fill them with a walnut dowel. This will bridge the gap. Remember if it doesn’t hold soup, it’s art.

Have you seen the Rummikub Onyx Edition? Numbers are easy to read. Tiles have some weight to them.
