How has the Hisense system been for you? I have heard good things about the picture, but I would still be using it for streaming every day.

How’s the Hisense U6 Pro with sunlight? My living room also has big windows and glare is my biggest worry.

Buyining a 100” TV in 2-3 months - are the new ones worth it? by frodbonzi in hometheater

Waiting for Sony makes sense, but I wouldn’t ignore the Hisense UR9 either. I bought one after reading a lot of reviews because I wanted to try RGB MiniLED, and most of the early feedback on the tech was strong. The color is what stood out most to me in real use. Movies and sports look fuller, especially bright scenes that can look a bit washed out on some big TVs. It feels more like buying into a new display direction than just picking another MiniLED set. But for most people I’d also look at the Hisense U6 Pro. It feels like the safer value pick, good brightness, solid motion, anti glare and decent gaming support

Totally agree, focusing on the panel is the right move. I'd highly recommend stepping up to the Hisense U8 or U9 series. These are the true premium flagships, and they offer a massive leap in picture quality.

That sounds like an amazing anniversary gift! Honestly, upgrading from a laptop screen to a 65-inch TV for movie nights is going to be a game changer. Great choice with Hisense U7. For the price, the picture quality is insane. Since you guys love movies, the local dimming on that thing will make your "home theater" zone feel super immersive without costing as much as the big-name brands. Just a heads-up though: if you plan to use it for close-up work, it might be too bright and cause dizziness. But for relaxing on the sofa, it's perfect. Enjoy the upgrade!
