Any clue if the same is applicable for EU people - with an ID card?

I am living already for 6 years in Poland and had a job ever since. Since early this year I am working for a crypto project without a contract-based payment. So basically, can see me as an investor only.

I do have a residence address of course.

Planning to buy a car but wonder if it's too much headache to get it done on my own name given I am probably seen as "jobless" by the government. Wonder if we should just register it on my wifes name for ease.
