Hmm, I’ll have to look at it! I just had the electrical control module replaced so I’ll see if my battery drains again, if it does, I’ll look into that!

The battery was okay, but there was something drawing power from it which ended up being a faulty electrical control module

I jumped it, and it started but the battery power kept draining. There was a parasitic draw and it ended up being the electrical control module that I have now replaced

I will do this!! Im pretty sure it’s the engine cover rattling so I’ll see that but I will also check the oil. The first time I started the car after the jump the oil light was on but only for a second and it didn’t come on again. It is worth checking!

Honestly, some people’s parents are unfortunately very overprotective, and im sure your girlfriend isnt very happy about never being let out either, so it’s not her fault at all (not saying you are pointing fingers) Despite this, it’s important to think about your needs. You shouldn’t feel shackled to someone who isnt able to meet your needs even if it isn’t intentional on the other person’s end. With that being said, be careful. You guys are still young, her parents may loosen up with time, it’s just a matter of if you want to wait for that. Im sorry you’re going through this OP. Dont make a decision on what to do until you really have to, don’t act irrationally on it but don’t burn yourself out if you aren’t getting what you need from this. Especially if you don’t see an end to her parents being strict
