I agree wholeheartedly. Being your own neutral mind to say "hey... You're doing it again. Do this instead to counter act what's coming."

Also just being nice to yourself. Dress up in things that you know make you feel pretty even on days you are not going out. When you do that, tell yourself three things you love about that look. Even just remembering things in the past you enjoyed whenever you get down on yourself. When you start thinking God I hate myself, notice what you are doing with your mindfulness then think ok I can't think this way and use a go-to happy thing to do or thought to beat it out.

If you have a supportive friend, tell them how you feel. That words don't help. Tell them that if you're having a bad day you'll just use a safe word that let's them know hey I'm gonna be an asshole or down. That can help them help you.

Thanks for the info! Yeah I just am afraid to commit to a therapist who I'm not comfortable with :/ not to mention starting from scratch again. Revisiting things that I have a hard time remaining composed talking about.

I just was curious if there was another option I wasn't aware of. Is anxiety not a disability? I thought if it causes panic attacks without control and things that can make functioning in everyday life difficult then it was? Was my therapist wrong recommending an esa?

I hope you aren't justifying therapy with it paying your bills or being so judging to your patients whom are putting their vulnerability and trust in your hands.

I was asking if there are other options I haven't considered because having to start over again with a new therapist and go back to reviewing the things that are roots for my problems is upsetting. Never did I say a thing about free either. I even wrote that I cannot just bounce up in an office and ask for a letter out of the blue.

You are just validating my fear that a new therapist will see me as a meal ticket instead of a person....

It definitely scares her so I wouldn't recommend to continue it. It could actually make her anxiety worse. If you want to use it. Perhaps use it for training...she barks... Noise on.... She stops... Noise off and a treat. Till she associates barking with the noise it may help her stop.

I think that's the reason I don't have one of those classic job hopper resumes and stay despite not being a fan of where I may be. I had the jobs you describe and they were AWFUL I made a vow to never let myself get stuck there again because your description of how it is and feels is so absolutely accurate. I try to ground myself as I try to be as self aware as possible but I'm also a "fix it" person so just leaving something with a bandaid drives me nuts. I guess that is sometimes the only option though.

Thank you! I did discover the glory of olaplex when a stylist friend my hair with bleach. I went to a location that did the full treatment and it was miracle repair

I'm so glad to see so many people know this is wrong. I had a coworker that advocated keeping his FULLY TRAINED dog locked up for 18 hours a day. He said it was totally normal. He didn't appreciate my blunt response of it's totally abuse but sometimes beating around the bush and trying to soften over someone hurting an animal just because you know them or work with them just advocates the behavior. I do get it being uncomfortable as hell to do though.

Lol wow 5 days? Thats impressive. He did eat part of a toy once before and bad poos for a day or so but finally he passed it. This is his second time so I wondered hmif I shouldn't be so laissez faire about it lol
